T has to sleep on his back tonight because he was sedated earlier. He's normally a strict stomach sleeper. It's just not happening so far. The crib in the hospital room is so high up that transfer after rocking or nursing is not very smooth and he wakes up. Plus you have to lower and raise those squeaky metal crib bars. Also I'm on my own at the moment since DH is in the ER downstairs. I have a soother on and a paci in. I try and run my hand over his head and belly to soothe him but he just looks at me like, No.
