First, I just want to say how grateful I am to have found this site! It's such a wealth of knowledge, I've been reading this whole past weekend But I have a question, that I didn't see a discussion for on here already.

How and when did your biological clock start ticking? What did it feel like when it started "ticking" and how old were you?

I'm at an age where my clock should definitely start ticking soon, we have a TTC plan for next year, and intellectually I know I want children (although I'm much more looking forward to the imparting knowledge and raising them to be good people part, than the infant stage and the actually being pregnant part). But I keep reading baby sites and blogs, and see comments like "my uterus pangs when I see a cute baby," or "I have baby rabies." None of these intense "OMG, I must have a baby now!" urges have kicked in for me yet, so I'm just wondering how many of you've felt that way before you TTC? Or did anyone NOT feel their biological clock ticking, but still wanted kids?
