Please tell me I'm not the only one who's 8-week old still likes to be awake from 10:30 to 11:30....
I don't remember when we had an established bedtime with DD #1!!!

Once she started falling asleep on her own in her cot at 12wks. It was between 7-8pm. Before that it could be anywhere between 7-10pm.

E was 10 weeks old when we established the bedtime routine and started putting her to sleep in her moses baspket in our room and then taking the monitor downstairs with us. Prior to that, she hung out with us downstairs and would be awake or asleep as she saw fit! Back then, her bedtime was 7pm but she moved it earlier herself at around 3 months.

We got her to fall asleep at 8 really early, but she had to be held to stay asleep. At 16 weeks we could put her in her crib at 8 and she'd stay asleep.

Around 8 weeks we started bedtime routine and she went to sleep around 10. At 12 weeks it moved to 8

DD started predictably going down around 8:00 at about 11 weeks. She moved it up to 7:30 a few weeks later. Her bedtime was starting to move up from 10ish at 8 weeks, but it was still all over the place.

DS1 established a bedtime of between 11-12 every night until he started to a transition on his own around 5 months. DS2 opted for an earlier bedtime of between 7-8 at 8 weeks.

Ds always decides to go to bed around 8 or 9. He's 8 weeks and it's been like that for probably 3 weeks, at least.

DS was a terrible sleeper the whole first year but I think his nights started around 10. But then again if the baby is waking every 90 minutes, does it really count as bedtime? DD is 8 weeks today and has been going to bed around 9 from week 1! Mine are totally different babies with totally different habits.

Def around 3 months, and it just happened - like she had been staying up til 10 or 11 pm, and then we started noticing that she was basically catatonic ever 7. Then we went through a period where she wanted to go down for the night at 4:30 pm (and get up for the day at 4:30 am) and now we're at around 7-7:30.

Around 12 weeks she moved her bedtime from. 11pm to 9pm. Now at 18 weeks I can see her getting tired even earlier so maybe she's pushing her bedtime to 8pm?

8 weeks for #1 but it was around 9 during my maternity leave. We had to work on moving it up to 7 and it took a couple of months.

Until about 12 weeks we started bedtime routine and her bedtime was 9/930. At 3 months it moved to 8:30 and at 4 months 8. We are at 5 months now and she goes to bed between 7-8, depending on when her last nap finishes, she usually goes to bed about 2 hours after last nap. She was in her crib to sleep from about 4w on.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: yep. Us. Lo started sleeping about 10 straight every night at hour 10 weeks old, but it was never early. He would drift off to sleep anywhere between 11pm- 12:30am and stay asleep until about noon. It wasn't ideal but I slept on his schedule and it worked. I'd imagine with a toddler, that's not easy.

For the first eight weeks of her life, my LO was up until 11-12 every night. She gradually started going to bed earlier and earlier, but it was never consistent. Some nights she would be asleep by 8, other nights she would be up until 11. We tried to establish a bedtime routine will no success. The turning point was at three months. She went through a major sleep regression for a week and then started consistently STTN from 9pm-7am. She will be four months tomorrow and I'm absolutely terrified of the dreaded four month sleep regression I keep hearing about!

When N was about 2mo-12 months we could count on bed time bottle at 8pm and sleeping until 7:30-8am the next morning.
Now that he is nearly 16 months he goes down right around 9:30-10pm and still gets up between 8 and 9 am.
I am hoping this next LO will sleep like a dream, like his brother.....hoping really hard....

We always started bathtime routine at 9pm since the first week, but I think she really started going to sleep after the routine between 2-2.5 months?
