We both badly want it now, but before I got on board last fall, DH always had a timeline for babies that was 1-2 years sooner than mine. We would have debates about how it upset him that I acted like it was not at all an interest, now I'm the crazed OPK lady!

DH the sole reason being his age. I'd maybe like 3 so if I have a chance of that happening we gotta get 'er done quickly!

Mine! Even though he is 5 years older.

Mine was at the beginning of our relationship but his has eclipsed mine at this point. He's also 8 years older than me. His youngest sister is currently pregnant with her 3rd child so I think he's feeling "behind" right now.

He's 37 and has a bit of complex about getting older and being an "old" parent.

We are basically the same age (a year and 2 weeks apart) but I have always wanted things sooner than him. Getting married, getting a puppy, buying a house, starting a family... we always get to those things but not as soon as I am ready. He does want them but he is more level headed than me. It has worked out for the best! He keeps me in check and we are able to get to major life moments at the right time for both of us, even if it doesn't feel like it at the time.

Mine!!! Hubs would wait s bit if we could before #2 but I'm 36. He is 31

I was ready to get married first, but DH was ready to have babies first. We would have had our first years ago, before marriage, if it were totally up to him.

I'm younger, so we have time. But DHS clock is done, after this baby comes he wants to be finished. I wouldn't mind more.

DH definitely. He wanted us to start trying while we were engaged. I wanted to wait.

We were equally the first time, moving up our timeline because we were both ready & the second time he would now I bet if I said I was ready. I'm a bridesmaid in April and I don't want to be pregnant for that wedding, and honestly would be okay with waiting until June/July/August but I think April is when we will start trying for #2.

I think mine was at first but then when it becomes a reality of TTC he's always ready before me.

@Pink Champagne: i totally identify with that cheating on your baby feeling!!! it's what makes it easier to wait but i definitely one at least one more *hopefully two more.

DH for sure! He talks about it non stop and keeps buying cute things he sees. I am fine waiting another 4-5 years. He gave me a max of one year. LOL

We were both ready to try to for S at the same time...after we lost her, it was me who was ticking, but now that I'm pregnant again, we're both on agreement that this is the last pregnancy, and last baby.

I'm actually really surprised to see that the poll is split pretty even! I was ready for a baby before we even got married, and if I hadn't pushed the issue I don't think we'd be trying for another 5 years - he is in no hurry! But since we had our loss he has realized that this is definitely something he wants sooner than later, but I still don't think his baby fever can ever match mine.

Mine. DH is on board for #2 (something I think he just came around to recently... making comments about saving things for our next one), but I don't think he's in any rush. I'm not in any rush either, but I probably think about it more than him.
