Do you still ever get baby fever? If so, how often?
We are done having kids, but once every few months or so something will spark some baby fever in me. Most recently it was watching videos of my LO's as newborns. The feeling didn't last more than an hour though!

We are 100% done, but agreeing to this was a decision I made with my head and not at all with my heart. I get twinges every time I retire an item of baby clothing and I get full on fever every time I see a pregnant woman or someone announces a pregnancy. I guess I have pregnancy fever rather than baby fever.

I used to when my youngest was younger. But now that my youngest is 2.5, I don't get it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love to oooh and aahh over tiny babies, but the fever is gone.

@lamariniere: I hope this happens to me. My youngest is only 6 months and I still get it bad.

Yes, probably a few times a week. My oldest is almost 3 and my youngest is 6 months. He's a dream baby. I'd get pregnant again right now most days even though I know we are done. Donating things he's out grown makes me so sad.

This is so funny that you ask this because I had baby fever for about a week, a month ago. I get my baby fever from reading the due date boards lol. I think me and DH have both decided that were one and done. Me being a mother has really been hard on both of us, so what I did was recorded my child screaming his head off at 2 in the morning! So whenever I get baby fever, I just play that little tune....it goes away pretty fast!

@Cherrybee: this! I get really sad thinking about never being pregnant again, not sad about not having another newborn.
I forgot to mention DS was a horrible newborn, with up to 12 hours a day of screaming crying.

Not yet... But my youngest is still a newborn, so I'm not nostalgic yet. I have a feeling the fever will hit once DS2 is 8 months old.

We aren't for sure done...DH tends toward the done side while I feel I may want one more. I always claim that it's my youngest that gives me the baby fever to begin with. Seriously. I adore my almost 3 year old but DD2 is the sweetest little "baby" (almost 16 months!). One look at her and I'm dying for another babe.

I'm totally done and no baby fever but my 2 month old waking me up at night and not sleeping during the day is enough for me. But I never had baby fever even before I was pregnant with him! I hate being pregnant and I have a hard time with newborns and babies. I only want to hold them and pass them back.

@Alivoo01: lol! DH asked me what I was gonna do when I got the fever, since we're done, so I showed him the recording and said, this will knock the stupid right out of me!

I get it occasionally (my youngest is 8 months) when I think about how sweet that newborn smell is, how immobile and cuddly they are, and when I'm around my 3 pregnant best friends. But in reality, another pregnancy would probably kill me, so.... I just have to remember that.
