I always measured two weeks ahead, sometimes three with my third baby. She was 8lbs 5oz at 39 weeks.

My fundal height measurements were pretty much right on with the ultrasounds, which were 3-4 weeks ahead for LO1 and 1-2 weeks ahead for LO2. They were both born at 39 weeks at 8lb 13oz and 8lb 3oz, so for me the ultrasounds were accurate.

@BandDmommy: He measured big but I didn't (?). He was 8.8 at birth.

Ten and eight and a half.

If I remember right I was about a week ahead. She was 8.4lbs at birth.

My fundal height was always ahead with DS, and ultrasounds showed him measuring 5-7 days ahead too. I'm 5'1 with a very short torso. My last ultrasound was at 39 weeks and estimated him at 9 lbs. He was born two days after his due date and weighed 8 lbs, so not huge. I was enormous at the end but the delivery was not bad.

My first baby was almost 4lbs. My second was 9 even. Pushing and labor were surprisingly not more difficult. The next day was different though

Baby was always a week ahead of her due date on ultrasound and came two weeks early and weighed just under 7 lbs. fundal always measured 3-4 weeks behind.

I always measured a couple weeks ahead.
Mine were 8lbs1oz and 8lb8oz

My son measured large all over (and specifically his head was nearly 4 weeks ahead) and my doctors encouraged c-section because of his size. They were predicting over 10lb if 40 weeks. He wound up being not that big at 8lb13oz although his head remains off-the-charts large. I think the head through off the other measurements and I felt coerced into a csection when it might not have really been necessary.

The furthest ahead I measured was 3.5 weeks at 28 weeks and still was one to two weeks ahead at every appointment. Baby was 9 lbs 1 oz born at 40w4d via induction, my doctor was scared of how big he was measuring.

I measured 2 weeks ahead at 37 weeks, baby was an average size though - 7 pounds 11 (3.5kg). my placenta was large though, maybe from the progesterone I took in early pregnancy. I also seemed to have a heck of a lot of amniotic fluid when my waters broke.

I measured ahead in fundal height by 2 weeks consistently with both pregnancies, and it seems like it will be about the same with this one too.

DS was 7 pound 1 and DD was 7 pound 2, both born at 40 weeks. I'm not too worried about the size of this baby, it will be what it will be. I am short with a short torso too, and a petite frame also.

You'll be ok. My mom was 5' even and 104lbs and birthed two over 8lb babies. I'm 5'4" with a small frame and my son was 8lbs even. It was fine.

I measured pretty much on target until the end then I measured a bit big - baby was 9lbs 6oz, eek! But I was also overdue. I'm sure you'll be fine, esp since its baby 3.
