If your LO is getting older and you are a couple of years removed from the pregnancy/childbirth experience, how do you feel about yours now? Has your opinion on it changed over time?

Getting and staying pregnant was not a challenge for us. For that, I am deeply thankful. The pregnancy itself was pretty normal for most of the duration.

I did experience extreme swelling and nearly all of the symptoms of pre-eclampsia which led to my induction at 5 days past due. I had a mostly successful epidural with zero lasting side effects. The induction went pretty smoothly, and she was born 19 ours later, vaginally. I did experience a post-partum hemorrhage, which was scary at time, but did not require a transfusion. LO was born normal and healthy.

Overall, I'm thankful that LO was healthy and that my pregnancy and birth were mostly okay. I feel immensely lucky that everything turned out okay.
