My MIL is wonderful, and so supportive. But she's visiting for several weeks and holy cow that's a LONG TIME.

She hasn't spent much time in the States so I'm trying to show her around while also juggling a baby. DH is at work. She has really skewed nutritional understandings so she'll decline what I make for dinner but will then eat bacon (because she says it's white meat??)

We're trying to sleep train which has been tough to try and stick to a nap schedule because she has a totally different concept of time. We'll say we're leaving at 1, and then 1 rolls around and she'll say, "ok, let me go shower so we can leave" which unfortunately means we don't leave until an hour later.

I'm sure it's tough for her to be in her daughter in law's home and I really do love her, but man oh man this is feeling like a long trip!

Anyone else have inlaws visiting? Anyone else have loving inlaws that drive them bonkers?
