I was awake last night from 4 - 6AM (after waking up to pee), just tossing and turning. I played on my phone twice and then tried to go back to sleep, but didn't manage to do so til after 6AM.
What do you do when you can't sleep... stay in bed, or get out and try to do something? This is happening about 2 - 3x a week, and it's SO annoying! I'm too lazy to get out of bed and keep hoping I'll fall asleep soon, but I'm wondering if I should switch up my strategy!
They say that watching TV or using your smart phone might over simulated your brain which makes it harder to fall asleep. Music is okay though!
