Anyone else dealing with/dealt with irregular periods or long cycles postpartum?? When do you poas?
I'm on my second cycle since my period started again; my second period started after 36 days, and I'm on cycle day 39 right now. I really don't think I'm pregnant (using condoms) but I was always super regular before lo2 with like 27 day cycles so this is really weird! We aren't trying but I have 1 test leftover that I'm tempted to pee on...

I did somewhere around CD 45. I had been feeling weird or I would have kept assuming my cycle was irregular since I had just gotten it back.

I used up my leftover sticks within a year. I'm pretty paranoid and would test periodically, just in case. I was also used to a super regular cycle before pregnancy.

I tested somewhere around day 35 of my second postpartum period. The first cycle was 24 days. My pre-pregnancy cycles were always 27/28 days.

If we were using condoms I probably wouldn't use this method but when we were trying (or not preventing) and I was irregular I'd POAS on Friday mornings so I could have a few carefree glasses of wine over the weekend 
That being said my plan failed last time- negative cheapie test Friday and it was positive Monday morning! (I retested cause I felt so off) So I guess my plan wasn't a great one... lol

I tested a couple times because my cycle was "late" but I think it was just a bit wonky because I was breastfeeding. It eventually evened back out to a regular cycle again.
Eta this is how I knew I subconconciously wanted a second. I was always sad when the sticks were negative

I think I tested once a week starting 4 weeks after my period until my next period arrived. I had irregular periods, too, so it just made me feel better.

Thanks everyone! Still waiting for af. I took a test 2 days ago after posting and I thought I maaaaybe saw something but dh thinks I'm hallucinating haha. It's cd41 now, I might test again before this weekend since it's dh's birthday as well as a close friend's wedding.
@MamaBear87: lol I feel you on the feeling sad when the tests are negative! I don't know if I want a third--we always talked about just two but it's weird to think lo2 is our last baby. But she's only 7 months, I'm def not ready for a third yet!

@nana87: were starting TTC for number 2 this month after several months of considering adoption through the foster system. So we'll likely end up with a 3rd through adoption when I really only wanted 1 to begin with

@MamaBear87: ooh good luck to you!! our pediatrician has joked with me that he wants me to have like 8 more babies since my girls have been really healthy and happy, and it's like a) don't tempt me and b) how would we even fit 10 babies in our nyc apartment??? lol
