Joking about the evil part, mostly

M is a very energetic, happy, awesome little girl. She's 16 months old today, and has a handful of words and follows direction really well. She'll go get a book and bring it to you when you ask, tries to put her own clothes on, etc.

Despite all of this she either doesn't know what the word "no" means, or she's on her way to becoming a huge brat!! Haha. She does bad things and when we firmly say "no" it seems to egg her on. She laughs. She's also started biting me and when I say "no we don't bite, that hurts" she giggles and does it again.

I'm beginning to worry we're going to have a big problem...

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I overthinking things, is this normal toddler behaviour??
