I used to be a loyal Wondfo POASer, but lately a couple of bad batches have turned me... I don't want to give up my POAS addiction next cycle, but I also can't afford to do it with FRERs. Is there an alternative (super cheap HPTs) to Wondfos?

I used these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FYPND4/ref=oh_details_o06_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Here's a pic of a couple of them when I got pregnant with LO.

I use these. Not as cheap, but I think that also helps keep me from using a billion of them.

I use these ones

I've been happy with them. I used the OPK's and the pregnancy tests for my first baby. I use the pregnancy tests now again. They're cheap and ship pretty quick

Here are some reviews of some other ones. These sound like the best bet : http://www.amazon.com/Twenty-five-SurePredict-10mIU-Super-Pregnancy/dp/B00GUSCNZG

i use the same as @MrsB2012: can't comment on the accuracies of the hpts but the opks are great, only had 1 defective in over 95 tests (oh god that is depressing).

I used the earlypregnancytests.com tests as well, they were accurate for me. 10 midstream tests run around $17 including shipping. The test strips are even cheaper, but I prefer midstream.

@septca: I used the Answer brand hpt from WalMart that you can get in those big bins in the middle of the aisle. Super classy but it fits the bill at $0.88 each. AND it picked up my BFP at only 9 DPO and the next day my betas were 18. 18!! Can't beat that with a POAS
ETA Here are pics of the Answer brand and a FRER on the same day, though the FRER was done at the very end of the day and the Answer was done very early with a middle of the night pee. Both of course looked darker in person.

The evap that I got this morning notwithstanding, I'm really happy with SurePredict 10mIU tests. I (am only a little ashamed to admit that I) took 24 others that didn't give even a hint of an evap. Which is why I got a little overanxious today. And they're really cheap on Amazon, and available Prime.

@littlek: I got the Sure Predicts that @lilyofthewest: recommended. They are supposed to come tomorrow, so I will let you know how I like them in about 4.5 weeks.

Just wanted to give an update - can highly recommend the Sure Predicts. They are ultrasensitive and definitive (no evaps or weird lines). The dye does take a while to pass over the test, and there seem to be two dye pass stages, which is kind of annoying, but overall I give these an A.

@septca: Awesome. I got a box (but haven't used them yet). Good to know about it taking a while.

My new RE uses the Ovu kits. Not sure if the kits are available to everyone or if a Dr has to get it for you.

@Septca This might be a silly question, but how do you know that the Wondfo ones have been bad batches? I swear I'm pregnant, but my Wondfo tests keep saying negative (but, of course, I'm only 10-12DPO, so I know I might just need to be patient). But how does one know if she has a bad batch?

@marzipan: First, you can google the batch number (on the test package) and see what comes up. There is a lot of Wondfo info out there, so you will be able to see if there are other who have had bad results with the same batch.
Second, I knew I was having problems, because every test - no matter when I took it - had the same weird line... not quite a positive, just weird evap lines that should not have been there.
That said, I never had a problem with Wondfos giving false negatives. If you are really concerned, get yourself a FRER.
