I do neutral colors for main areas, like the living room, entry, and kitchen, but I use bolder colors for bedrooms and the dining room (which is currently being used as a playroom).

We're painting the outside right now. Two different Greys and a jewel tone blue. It's gonna be beautiful when it's done!

Inside we have muted greens, tans, robins egg blue and grey.

Mostly neutral. The problem is we are both drawn to more neutral decorative items too which ends up being very boring. We are trying to branch out a little.

I think bedrooms are better places for bolder colors. I prefer soothing r neutral entry ways. But again... I can be boring.

I like color. Visitors have likened my house to a bag of Skittles. I'd do the trade-off where he gets color somewhere and you get neutrals in another area.

Completely neutral - Dulux Antique White USA with a flat white ceiling. I deliberately wanted the walls to be very plain so I could buy artwork as the feature.

Neutral colors throughout the main living areas (living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, foyer, hallways), bedrooms and bathrooms are fun colors.

Almost entirely colorful. Our main color through the house (hallways up and downstairs, dining room, and 2 of the 3 walls in the great room) is light blue. Bright green kitchen and bath. Dark blue accent wall in gray room. Our room/bathroom is a soft sage green. Our second living room was originally brown.

Basically when we first moved in I went color CRAZY because I was so sick of living in white walled rentals. Five years later I am soooo over it and wishing I'd done mostly neutrals. I painted LO's room and repainted the second living room in a light grey that I love. I wish I'd done grey through most of the house and just did the kitchen and bedrooms in fun colors. But I'm too cheap and lazy to change it right now.

50/50! The we used 4 colors throughout the house: dark grey, light grey, mint green and robin's egg blue.

Our entire apartment is bright white and I love it that way. It makes it feel so light and clean.

I would say 50/50 split. We have a gray/green in the living and hallway, lighter gray in the master, and darker gray in the dining, kitchen and spare rooms

We did mostly blue-greens with some brighter colors thrown in. Our living room/hallway is painted Palladian Blue (BM) with a dark brown accent wall. The kitchen will be painted the same color once I get around to it. Our bedroom is a lighter blue with a bit of a gray undertone. Our lone full bath is painted a bright blue and I adore it (Acupolco Cliffs by Porter Paints). The others are random colors since we haven't painted over the old owner's colors yet.

Kinda split. The base color is a light tan/beige but we have a yellowish bedroom, teal master bath, DD's room has trees painted on all the walls, my dining room is a deep burgundy and below the chair rail in my kitchen is the same burgundy, 1/2 bath is purple and #2's bedroom will have a big Starry Night mural the kids bath is/will be yellow and the new playroom is light blue with a big green and while mountain mural. Obv we don't shy away from color but it is as in your face as it sounds either.

Everyone photos of their houses are AMAZING!!! My house looks like a disaster and feel like I should go clean now....

I love neutrals. We have a beige color on our walls and slightly darker beige on our baseboards. Our bathrooms are a dark green with a beige ceiling. I have a wall that would look awesome with a accent color but could never make up my mind!

@travellingbee: haha it is DEF lived in right now! A 4th of July toddler tornado came through!

@pui: Can you paint a sizable swatch in the front to convey how much green that is going to be? I totally changed my colors after doing big swatches.
