It's almost autumn! The BEST season of all!
To what are you looking most forward this fall? Could have to do with your kiddos - or not!
For me it's bringing out my favorite boots, the crisp smell in the air, fireplaces, hot toddys, apple picking, PSLs, and this year - watching my son enjoy his first Halloween!!

Tall boots, cozy sweaters. The most beautiful leather jacket in the world that I've been too pregnant to wear two of the last three falls. Apple picking. Soup. Rainy evenings. Crunching through dried leaves. Thanksgiving.

Being able to pick the kids up from daycare and go hang out at the park for an hour without sweating! Park trips have been miserably hot even if we want until 7pm.

Fall clothes are the best. Best season to dress for. I live in leggings and boots.
Soup. I love making batches of homemade soup. So delicious. And with fresh baked homemade bread?! Mmn even better
Apple orchards as well are my favorite excursions.

The end of 100+ degree days, mostly. The end of fire season, although so far we've had very little smoke this year. Rain! The death of our wasps and star thistle so we can enjoy our property again. Hooded sweatshirts. Being able to snuggle the babies (and DW) without sweating. Snow on the mountain again.

Its almost sprriiiiiiing!!!!! t-shirts, cuffed jeans with sandals, light cardigans, no more heavy knits and puffer jackets! can't wait to take both girls out longer in the evenings while its still warm and sunny!

Football, soup, boots, sweaters, scarves, pumpkin. I'm such a cliché but I love everything fall! It's seriously my favorite time of year! We go apple picking and to the pumpkin patch, I think I get more excited than my 4 year old

I used to be a summer lover, but after this heat wave, being pregnant and having a toddler, I desperately love fall now! I can't wait for cooler weather; I've been postponing our first zoo trip till it's cooler! I can't wait for all the fall festivals, apple picking, pumpkin patch... So much fun!

I love Fall! Looking forward to cooler weather, having an excuse to bake pumpkin bread, apple picking (and apple crisps!), DH's and LO's birthdays, Halloween, getting to wear jeans and snugly sweaters again.
Also semi-looking forward to third trimester (not all the terrible parts, but at least finishing up this pregnancy in cooler weather).

Pumpkin pie, paying off my car loan at the beginning of September, wearing pants and hot chocolate. Also I want to take a fall trip somewhere. Haven't decided where yet.

our wedding anniversary, Halloween in our new subdivision, pumpkin and apple everything. I'm already working on some apple cider donut coffee K-cups. I can't wait to take the kids apple and/or pumpkin picking. Since their daycare doesn't do field trips for another year, we're going to brave the crowds for it. I can't wait to wear my thermal knit tops. They're my favorite.

Cooler weather! Spending more time outside - hiking/walking. Oktoberfest. Football - we don't tailgate but I love game day food! And of course Thanksgiving.

@PawPrints: Yes! We are going to check out one of the bottle shops or Total Wine this weekend to see if we can get a case of our favorite. It seems to come out earlier and earlier every year and then they run out by October. Hoping to stock up for the season.

EVERYTHING! I just moved from somewhere with NO fall to somewhere that gets beautiful falls. I can't wait for cooler weathers, leaves changing colors, sweaters/boots/scarves and having halloween and thanksgiving not be 80 degrees.

I love everything about fall- boots, sweaters, pumpkin in everything I eat, hay rides, leaves, my daughter's birthday AND our second baby is due. We also live close to the most awesome apple orchard that makes homemade donuts, hard cider, and had music a few nights a week- I am gonna practically move up there until they close.
