@PurplePumps: me too! The nurse and the doctor were talking to them and telling them to settle in and stay put!

@Sunshine1810: Yay! It's wonderful that your embryos are growing so well! FX that you have lots of beautiful frosties AND that the two you transferred are busy getting comfortable!!!

@FliegepilzHut: thank you! I was shocked that we even made it to day 5, let alone have frosties at all! What a difference from my first cycle!

@Sunshine1810: Will you hear back today on who made the cut to freeze? FX for gloriously smooth sailing from here on out!
pear / 1556 posts
@FliegepilzHut: Thanks! I am hoping I hear today but my suspicion is they will send me the results in the mail. That's what they did with my friend who goes to the same hospital. I am kind of hoping they call though!

@Sunshine1810: A call is always nice. Sending all the calm, relaxed, and positive vibes your way!

@Sunshine1810: Yay!!! Congrats on two great embryos! And as far as the freezing, why don't you just call them?! Would they not tell you over the phone? Worth a try! So you don't have to wait for the mail. I'm so excited for you!! When will you start testing?
pear / 1556 posts
@Jenn23: I really want to call them, I just hate bugging people (I know I need to get over that). I think they probably would tell me over the phone if I called. I think I'll probably start testing on Sunday. Is that too soon?

@Sunshine1810: I think 6dp5dt is the absolute earliest you might be able to tell. Do whatever keeps you happy, though!
pear / 1556 posts
@FliegepilzHut: I figured that was pushing it! I have my beta on 7dp5dt so maybe I won't test until that morning. I just want to be prepared for the phone call I get at work.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@Sunshine1810: I definitely believe in being prepared. All the luck!

I'm driving myself crazy! I keep thinking that I should feel implantation or something, but I don't feel anything. The next several days are going to drag!

I know I'm beating an old horse, but knowing *this* makes me feel much more sane. http://www.nyufertilitycenter.org/ivf/embryo_transfer
Nothing to do right now but relax and think warm, welcoming thoughts... I've also got a song that made me laugh before/after my transfer, if you think that would help! Thinking of you and wishing you lots and lots of luck!!!

@Sunshine1810: I got a BFP on 5dp5dt with my son, so you can start that early. This time I didn't get a BFP until 8dp3dt. On 7dp3dt it was negative. I know the waiting part stinks!!! Hang in there.

@Jenn23: They're still going strong in the lab, my RE left me a message to say everything looks "awesome" haha-- I think he's crossing everything he has in wishing us good luck! I'm scheduled for a 5-day transfer on Saturday.
I'm on a steroid and also a blood thinner (the generic for Lovenox) this time, which is a bit different. Looks like it's helped a lot of people who have difficulty staying pregnant. We'll see! The generic Lovenox needle is the worst-- seems very thick and dull and is hard to get in!

@momazon: Yay! That's great news! I'll be thinking of you Saturday!! I know a woman who used Lovenox and said her tummy was really bruised from it! Ouch. Fingers crossed for you!!

@FliegepilzHut: Thank you! I am so curious about your song now!
@Jenn23: I was thinking probably 5dp5dt to test. That means Sunday!
@momazon: Thanks! I'm trying! SO glad everything is looking great for you!!! Sending lots of good thoughts your way!

@Sunshine1810: If you want, you can YouTube "Thema's womb song"...and I'll sing a couple of choruses with you!

Well its official, my IVF break is over! I'm on CD1 today and just scheduled my FET for November 21. I'm so excited!!
Such good things going on this weekend! @momazon: Best of luck for your transfer… tomorrow!! Boo about the Lovenox… I've been there - had to take it during my OHSS. But its worth it if it works!! @Sunshine1810: So glad to hear your transfer went well! Fingers crossed for you if you test on Sunday!!

@GreenThumb: Yay! We'll TWW together (I'm hoping to transfer the following Friday)!!! When do you start your estrogen supplements (I'm still trying to figure out how to time this with BCPs, etc)?
pear / 1986 posts
@FliegepilzHut: Just after Thanksgiving?! Awesome!! My IVF coordinator will send out a schedule soon, but I think based on last FET I will have 4+ weeks of BCPs, ~4 weeks of Lupron, and then start estrogen patches on Nov 6th and then PIO on the 16th. They give me a calendar with it all written down which makes it easy to keep track. So exciting, but so weird to be doing it all over again…

@GreenThumb: Yes, assuming my lining is good, just after Thanksgiving! They'll check the Friday before...and if not, I'll have to wait another week. Also, I'm pretty sure I won't (my clinic doesn't) do Lupron for FET? I'll be interested in comparing notes once I get a schedule!
nectarine / 2433 posts
@momazon: Good luck on Saturday!
@Sunshine1810: I felt NOTHING after my transfer and was convinced that it didn't work!
@GreenThumb: Welcome back! Will you be traveling back to your old clinic for your FET?
@FliegepilzHut: Thanksgiving will be here in no time!
pear / 1986 posts
@mrswin: Hi! How are you doing? Yes, my husband and I will head back to our original clinic for the transfer (I actually think a relaxing night in a hotel room sounds great) and I just set up u/s monitoring here locally. I'll probably just go to my new OB/GYN here for my betas.
