    @dagret: L is 12 weeks today and I haven't noticed any additional fussiness, but at ten weeks we had a few no nap/nurse all day days. I think it passed after three days and she was back to sleeping like a champ. And she has definitely shot up in size. I think we'll switch to size three diapers this week. Some of her 3-6 month stuff is too short all of a sudden.

    @Mrs Green Grass: glad D is eating well! L will sometimes wedge Sophie under her arm, she can grasp her so I think it's just laziness. I've also found her propping the pacifier in her mouth with Sophie's head. I would probably wait until D can grasp things before giving him one, but definitely have her on deck for when he's ready.

    @edelweiss: I've had lunch with my coworkers twice to show off the baby. It was really nice. They really followed my pregnancy so it was good to show off the result!

    And for the TMI portion of my post.....two weeks ago I had crazy ewcm the morning after we had grown up time. Yesterday I spotted for the first time after baby. I thought maybe AF was coming back, but I've had nothing since. Cue silent implantation bleeding freak out.

    @swurlygurl: great Easter pics! Your dd is gorgeous! I'm with you in the baby fever/wanting four close together. We'll probably start trying this summer, but I'm secretly convinced I'm pg right now.

    @oliviaoblivia: hahaha "cue silent implantation bleeding freak out ". I bet its all just fine don't fret !!! You better keep us updated !

    We tried to DTD again last night- 3rd try. Still not the full meal deal blah. It is getting better each time though so I guess we are making progress!

    J is getting so big. I want 3 years between our kids (we will both be 27 in may) but when I look at him changing it makes me a little sad and sometimes I feel a HINT of baby fever. I would like to stop at 2 kids but DH says if we have another boy we should go for it one more time to try for a girl - we will see!

    @Mrs Green Grass: I've been having work dreams too. Totally not fair! And so glad D is eating better.

    @oliviaoblivia: good to know...I have to get his 3-6 moth sleepers in the wash today! And lmao RE: your implantation bleeding freak out. I've noticed some cm this week and am hoping at isn't coming back already!

    @swurlygurl: she's so sweet, and GL with your pumping!

    @coacheswife123: good for you for keeping up the trying. Hang in there.

    I go back to work today. D has been sleeping till at least 6 every morning fur the past week or so, and before that it was 5 pretty consistently. This morning, we're up at 4. Really?! It's like he can sense a change coming.

    @littlebug: what a bummer! I go back in the middle of April. Good luck today.

    I had a dream last night that instead of going back, they fired me.

    @littlebug: I hope its a good day!

    @dagret: so do you think L was going through a growth spurt earlier this week ? J nursed a full hr more yesterday than he normally does and slept ALL DAY. he woke up 3 hrs after going down for the night to eat again. (Usually does at least 6) then slept horribly. Gas I think - prob from the extra intake ? Sleep has been going so well for us. I hope this passes

    @littlebug: Sorry - good luck coping! I went back at 7 weeks, it was so hard. It's nice you only have to work a half week!

    @dagret: Sometimes I think that would be nice - give me an excuse to not work

    DH and I are meeting with an in-home babysitter this afternoon. I really hope it goes well ! We only need child care part time and the daycares around here don't offer part time ! A family friend recommended this lady and she seemed nice on the phone. She only keeps 4 kids , one is her own. Two of the kids are also only part time. I really hope we like her and it will work out !

    Ah, this thread is getting hard to keep up with!

    Eli had his 2 month checkup yesterday. He weighs 14 lbs and is 24 inches long! The dr. said (jokingly, I think?) that he looked like a 6 month old. I'm pretty petite at 5'2, and I already look ridiculous carrying him in the Ergo. Ha. My husband is 6'1, though, so I guess he's taking after dad.

    @allison: he is SO cute!!!

    Our meeting went great - j officially has a babysitter

  16. dagret

    grapefruit / 4235 posts

    @coacheswife123: he ate a ton Monday, a little less Tuesday, a bit less yesterday, and was cranky all 3 days except when he was sleeping. Plus he woke 4x each night to eat. We took a 2 hr nap together yesterday...it was heaven. So I definitely think it was a growth spurt! Of course J is going through the same thing. Haha. Glad you found a babysitter!

    @allison: so cute! L has his 2 mo checkup next week. They scheduled it 2 months from his 2 week checkup instead of when he was 2 months but whatever.

    I have to get on a conf call for work in an hour. Blech.

    @allison: ah! Cute baby alert! What a cutie! Liv is on the same weight gain plan. Her two month stats were almost exactly the same. Four weeks later she is wearing size three diapers and six months clothing, I had to pack the 3-6 month stuff away at 11weeks. Where did my little baby go?

    @coacheswife123: glad you found a good sitter. We are on the waiting list for a great daycare, but I think I'd be more comfortable with in-home care.

  18. allison

    pear / 1895 posts

    @oliviaoblivia: seriously?! We're still in size 1 diapers, but mainly because we still have a pack left. I boxed up 0-3 yesterday--can't believe I'll be packing up 3-6 soon, too! Luckily he doesn't have much that size. His Kate Quinn 3-6 month stuff is already too small though... That stuff runs really small! Wahhh.

    @coacheswife123: @dagret: thank you! I was so excited to catch those smiles on camera. We have a good looking bunch of kids on this board, for sure

  20. oliviaoblivia

    @allison: we were having poop blowouts in size two. girl makes a size three poo. She's a bit over 16# which is the low weight on 3s. I was stalking the Nov. '12 mama size thread and we're bigger than most of those babies.

  21. allison

    pear / 1895 posts

    I'm curious: what were everyone's LOs two month stats? It seems like several of our babies are on the bigger end of things...

  22. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

    @allison: D was 12 pounds (57%) and 22" (16%). A short, chubby, balding boy...he's George Costanza.

    @littlebug: I went back at 7 weeks. It was hard. They days really fly by though it seems. Hope it went well for you!

    @allison: Super cute pics! LOVE them. How stinking cute!

    Wow. LO is still in newborn diapers. We went up to size one and then they started to seem too big. She will be 9 weeks on Sat. Her 8 week check is tomorrow. Curious to see her stats. She really has grown in length. I think she is def going to be tall and thin like her Daddy and her 1/2 sister. She has thined out and gotten so LONG!

  24. pl0508

    GOLD / grapefruit / 4007 posts

    12 lbs and 24 inches ! Long and skinny! We are about to move up to size 2 dipes.

  25. oliviaoblivia

    pineapple / 12793 posts

    We had her eight week appt a week early (?) and she was 13 lbs 10 oz and 24.5 inches.

  26. birdofafeather

    pineapple / 12053 posts

    At Row's 8 week appt she was 10 lb 14 oz (38th percentile) and 23.5 in (90th percentile). Long and skinny like her dad! I'm still pushing the 0-3 stuff although some lengths are tight. The 3-6 stuff is way baggy!

  27. Mrs Green Grass

    pomelo / 5628 posts

    Big babies! I'll bring down the stats for you. Dylan just hit 10lbs at 11 weeks adjusted (I'm thrilled!). We are in size 1 diapers though not for too much longer, newborn onesies and 0-3 sleepers. He's 3rd percentile in weight, 16th in height, and 46th for head circ.

    Did you notice my phone non-post yesterday? Sorry about that!

  28. dagret

    grapefruit / 4235 posts

    No appointment yet here on our end but based on my unscientific "step on the scale and then again while you're holding him", he was 13.5 lbs at 9 weeks and 24 inches according to a measurement blanket. Soooo he's unofficial,y a porker.

  29. Rescuemom10

    pear / 1965 posts

    Well she did great today. Just cried a little during her shots. Thank goodness. I was so nervous for that.

    She weighted exactly 11 lbs. They measeure her at 22 inches long but the nurse didnt do the greatest job straightening her legs when he measured her so I honestly think she is a little longer than that.

    I havent posted any pic of her yet...so I am going to give that a try...
    The first is about an hour after she was born. The second is from her newborn shoot....

    January made some big babies!

    @Rescuemom10: So sweet!

    I'm so jealous of all the babies with tons of hair! I thought for sure mine would come out with a head full (both I and DH are very hairy).

    @Rescuemom10: soooo cute !

    @allison: j lost a lot of his hair and has a really funky looking bald spot!

  32. littlebug

    honeydew / 7504 posts

    @allison: D is losing his hair slowly. He has this hilarious bald stripe on the back of his head. And the hair in the sides of his head is thinning, too.

    ETA: I agree, though - we made some big, hairy babies!

  33. oliviaoblivia

    @Rescuemom10: I luuuurve that newborn shot! What a beauty!

    Seriously about the big hair babies. Liv hasn't lost any hair yet, but it is definitely growing in blonder, making my ken-doll hubby happy. When did you all start noticing hair loss?

    Has anyone started losing their own hair yet? When my mom had me and my sisters she lost a ton of hair in the front and had to wear bangs...I'm waiting fingers crossed that mine stays put.

  34. littlebug

    @oliviaoblivia: No hair loss for me yet. My hairdresser says it may not happen till I finish bf'ing. I suppose it's kind of like getting your period - some women are earlier than others!

    I have totally been freaked out about the pp hair loss threads but I'm 6 months pp and haven't noticed anything unusual.

    D has a bald spot on the back if his head which is giving him the beginnings of a mullet :). The rest of his hair is pretty much staying out. He's got a bit of a reddish tint which surprised dh and I, but I guess his grandpa's hair was reddish before it turned white.

    No hair loss for me, either. @Mrs Green Grass: Those threads freaked me out, too! Glad to hear you haven't had to deal with it. Maybe the rest of us will get lucky, too.

    Well, I had my first big milestone as a mother: Eli slept in his crib (in our room) all night last night! He's been in a cosleeper pod thing on our bed, but he'd gotten too long for it. I've been hesitant to move him because he's been STTN the past week, and I didn't want to mess with a good thing. But I finally did it! I felt ridiculous, but it was SO hard for me, for some reason. His crib is literally like 3 feet from my side of the bed, but I was so used to having him inches away and being able to check on him any time I woke up/rolled over. I actually cried when I put him down last night. So pathetic. But anyway, after he fell asleep (which took a little longer than usual), he slept all night! 'I' didn't sleep well because I kept waking up to check on him, but I think I'll do better tonight.

    I never thought I would be this mom.

    @allison: yayyyy good job E ! It's sad when you move them I agree ! It gets easier !

    No hair loss for me yet !

    @allison: Good job Momma!

    No hair loss for me yet! I have stupid htick hair though so I may have some to spare worst case scneario.

    Belle's hair is growing so fast already. I swear its doubled in length from when she was born. Starting to lighten just a tad. Was almost black when she was born and now its more dark brown.

    DH has been gone 6 weeks now. There is a chance he may be able to swing home for the weekend not this weekend but next.
    B has changed so much. He hasnt seen her since she was 3 weeks old. I hope he can come home for the weekend. Excited to see both LO's and DH's reaction to e/o.

    @Rescuemom10: that must be so hard! I hope he gets home soon!

    I totally freaked out when I was in the shower the other day because of the hair loss question! I was like...is this my normal amount? Does my hair feel thinner? Thanks

    D turned 6 months yesterday!! This is the pix I posted on fb. I learned how to crochet in the NICU and made the bow tie.

    @Rescuemom10: I'm praying your DH gets to swing home next weekend. You are such a saint, I had just five days alone with LO and found it so hard. I'm so impressed with your strength.

    @Mrs Green Grass: so sorry to freak you out! That you haven't lost it yet is awesome. Everything I read says loss happens around 3 months pp. I think you're in the clear! D looks so handsome in his bow tie! What an expression!
