I would want to share my excitement with family too, but would probably wait until the end of vacation to be as far along as possible before I tell them, but it's whatever you're comfortable with.

Just had some bleeding at 8dpo...I'm not sure what that's about. I typically have very regular cycles and have never had any irregular bleeding before. Maybe implantation bleeding? But it seemed like a lot and I didn't have any with my first pregnancy.

@gotkimchi: I was trying to respond earlier saying that's a positive sign for implantation except now it's also happening to me as well and I'm wondering if AF is early.
I'm also 8dpo and just started bleeding very light. Feels like my periods here, feels like AF cramps, bad mood, irritable and emotional, but this would be AF a week early, What the heck ?! I also didn't have implantation bleeding with my first. -
@gotkimchi: it could be implantation bleeding! I didn't have it with my first pregnancy but I experienced it with my current pregnancy. I had a gush of red blood while using the bathroom at 10 dpo in the morning and then it completely stopped a few hours later. I got my bfp 3 days later!

@TrailRunner: you can move me from poas 7/25 to cheerleader. Due to some health issues with DH we have to bow out for this month. We won't be able to try this month. Hoping to be back in next month though.

I think I'm out. AF has arrived a week early. A 22 day cycle!! Anyone know why this could be? A sign of a fertility problem?
So bummed!! Had very strong cramps last night & this morning w light bleeding. What gives?! Last month was wacky & long and now it's extremely early!!

Posting here first... Has anyone experienced fertility challenges after having baby #1? I
I've always had regular 28-29 day cycles, always! Last month went a week late and now this month AF arrived a week early, Cycle day 22! Was approx 7 or 8 dpo and thought maybe implantation but the cramps are very sharp & constant, medium bleeding and going on day 2. I normally only have AF cramps right before it starts. This is so not normal for me.
Should I be concerned about this? This AF literally feels like what my PP bleeding felt like it honestly doesn't feel like a normal AF. So confused!!!! Any advice?
Baby #1, I had a c section, prob doesn't matter, Oh and I am still bf-ing my 2 yr. old, could that effect fertility?!

@jh524: First of all, I am so sorry you are dealing with this wacky cycle nonsense!!! Have you tried using opks to find out when you are ovulating, so you won't miss a month of ttc if your cycle is off?

Its probably best it didn't work out this month, since I just accepted a new job...trying to think positively -
@jh524: Not sure how accurate this is but in the Sperm Meets Egg book by Deanna Roy (free download from Amazon), it says that an early period is usually a sign that the egg was not fertilizable so progesterone was not adequately produced and you have a shortened cycle. It states that this is usually a one-month problem. Sounds like maybe this was just a fluke month?

@jh524: I experienced a very short period two months ago. It was only 17 days! That has never happened to me before I am usually regular as clock work 28-30 days cycle but then bam 17 day cycle. I realized mine was most likely due to stress and last month I went back to normal with a 30 days cycle. So I think it's possible yours is just a fluke... have you been stressed or anything big happen recently? If not I'd just see what your next cycle is like. If it goes back to normal I wouldn't do anything.

@Ajsmommy: I'm not stressed so I'm not sure but I hope it's a fluke and nothing else. DH and I were talking about lo being an only child last night. We got really lucky when we conceived him on out first try. We will only be TTC for a short time so it's gonna have to be within the next few month or not at all. I'll try OPK's next -
