@nanilani: @bhbee: @mrskansas: @HeartAbandoned: I'd be super annoyed if I'm getting another LH surge at CD44 . It's probably my PCOS screwing with me again. Blah!

@knittylady: I had a BFN this cycle at 3dp5dt which is 8dpo. BFP the next day at equivalent of 9dpo!

A friend who knows we are trying sent me this today, and I thought y'all would appreciate it!

@knittylady: do you mind adding me as POAS 7/14? That's when my period is due
Sorry I've been MIA ladies, work has been crazy demanding and then after work isn't much better. I finally appear to have O'd on about the 30th so I'm about 6DPO. No real desire to test yet, but my birthday is Saturday so I'd like to know before I drink. The earliest I've gotten a squinted is 9DPO which will be the day after. Oh well, tame Birthday for me!

@HeartAbandoned: I see it!! And that is definitely what cheapies are for! Pee on all the things!!

@bhbee: yes! Tomorrow 8am. It's a quest diagnostics so it might be a whole day before I get results. Or at least not till end of day. They are pretty slow.
And yesterday I took a digital to get the official "pregnant" đ¤

@SweetiePie: good luck tomorrow! Love seeing the words pregnant on a digital. It's so real!

@SweetiePie: Good luck & congrats on the official digital positive!!

I am so itching to test tomorrow at 8dpo but it also feels really stupid because I've never tested positive that early in 7 bfps ... guess I better go see how many wondfos I have left
clementine / 933 posts
@bhbee: My answer is to always test
AFM, Tested again this morning at 9dpo and BFN. Has anyone else had a positive, then a negative, but ended up pregnant that cycle?
I'm starting to research new BBT thermometers. If this cycle is a dud I want to get a new one. Mine is 3 years old and takes forever. Do any of you use one that you love?
nectarine / 2242 posts
I also couldn't wait to test so did today - BFN at 11 dpo. My other two pregnancies I ONLY tested on the day my period was due which isn't till next week, so I"m not sure if I could have a positive early or not!
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@HappyBaker: FWIW I had a really early BFP (squinted) with my first and with this pregnancy it took a bit longer . Hoping you get your BFP soon!
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@SweetiePie: I did a digital too. Mostly to announce to DH because I could see him asking some questions about the lines "why 2?" "Why is one darker" ..etc etc..
pomegranate / 3521 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: âšī¸ Sorry.. i know how much seeing that 1 line sucks.. I hope you get your BFP soon!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@HeartAbandoned: pretty sure mine is a bfn (no surprise at 8dpo) but I will be sure to squint at it all day! I had a 9dpo negative before a 10dpo faint positive with my son so you never know when it's so early!
honeydew / 7463 posts
@Reese: haha my husband finally gets it and is ito the whole 2nd line/squinter/is it getting darker process. He's actually been asking each morning it I tested to see it getting darker. Lol. It's cute. The digital made it very clear though.
Just got back from first beta draw. But it's slow so prob won't hear anything till late today or tomorrow.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@HeartAbandoned: post your test. Someone else here said they had bfn and it ended up we could all see it. Sorry, bad memory it's a couple pages back. Lol. I'll go look.
ETA: it was @hocuspocus:! She thought she had bfns after a bfp but we could all see lines so she took an FRER.
clementine / 933 posts
@SweetiePie: This is the one from this morning at 9dpo
ETA yesterday's test (a page back, I think) was a squinted, but definitely had a line. Do chemicals come & go that quickly?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@HeartAbandoned: definitely still a chance tomorrow! One thing I've learned from testing through many bfps and losses is that tests are not super precise. So if your hcg is early/low, one test may pick it up and the next (same brand) may not. Could be the test itself, concentration in the sample, etc. You see this when people try to test out hcg triggers too, it can go back and forth. So I'd just test again tomorrow!!
honeydew / 7463 posts
@HeartAbandoned: yes I def saw yesterday's for sure. Agree that this one is lighter or bfn, unfortunately. But it does also seem really fast to just disappear (like for a chemical). My chemical took almost a week to totally fade out to a bfn. It never got very dark, pretty much just a squinter and then stayed squinter for a few days.
It could be a couple of things - just that the concentration is different. Or you could be a better SMU or PM POAS'er (some just get better lines with SMU or in the PM for whatever reason even though FMU is said to be best). Or it could have been a faulty test.
If it were me, I would take another cheapie with SMU if you haven't already taken your 2nd pee, and this evening after a 4 hour hold or so. And tomorrow morning with FMU and SMU. But I am totally crazy and an addict. I'd be prepared for them to be BFNs just to make myself feel better (even though it still feels crappy when it's a bfn and you're expecting it).
Sorry your in such limbo!

@bhbee: Thank you so much for this encouragement!
For some reason my brain is telling me that if it doesn't happen this month, I'll have to wait the 6 months of trying, see my OB do Clomid again, and that feels like a long road. And the. I feel whiny because I know I've had it relatively easy on this TTC road!
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@HeartAbandoned: it's just hard. I've been thinking this week that I just want to give up on #3. And then sometimes I pick my giant 2yo up and cuddle him like a baby and I am right back in the game
nectarine / 2242 posts
Ok 100% neurotic and crazy question for you guys - but if anyone might know the answer it would be you haha If you hold up a negative pregnancy test to the light, is it possible to see a faint second line? Since that's not how you are supposed to read them I'm wondering if its just a flukey thing that you can see by being crazy. HA.
I just tried this with the FRER I took this morning and there's a super faint but there second line, but you can't see it with your eyes on the test itself when looking at it like a NORMAL person.
nectarine / 2813 posts
@HappyBaker: The new FRERs are bad with indent lines and also sometimes extra pee can collect there and make it look like a line when you hold it up to the light.
I've had that happen a few times and it's annoying.

I think I'm ovulating on CD 14 which is pretty normal for me. But wow - it's a strong one - strong cramps for a brief time and sore boobs. We have BD'd every other day starting Sunday and will tomorrow morning to be safe. But for some reason I'm feeling like it won't be our month that we'll conceive. I have no idea why and hope I'm wrong - and end of March baby would work for us before our big move from Europe back to the US next summer. Wishing everyone here the best of luck

@SweetiePie: 12dpo today.
I think AF is coming. My temp this morning plummeted to pre-o temps. I'm feeling bloated and I'm eating (craving) the best tuna melt I've ever had in my life .... and I don't even eat this stuff. I'm waiting for the bleeding to come. Oh well....
clementine / 933 posts
@Mrs. Oreo: Such a bummer! Hoping the next cycle is the one for you! What thermometer do you use to temp?
@bhbee: The roller coaster of emotions, right?!? There's just something about a newborn... sigh.
@HappyBaker: @mrskansas: How annoying! The whole point of FRERs is that they are clear (and early, of course!)!
@MrsJBeeG: Hoping a strong O is a good sign for you!

So I'm pretty confident that I O'ed yesterday but am still waiting on a temp shift to confirm it. I'm kicking myself a bit thinking I should've initiated BD last night, but after three days straight and thinking that O+1 would still be fertile I didn't. Now CM is gone and my cervix feels like it's closed as tightly as Fort Knox, so I don't think I'm fertile at all anymore Oh well, hopefully our timing was good enough. Still looking like a POAS date of 7/18.
pear / 1677 posts
@HeartAbandoned: MABIS Basal Thermometer through Amazon. Another bee recommended it. So far so good! It's not obnoxiously loud so DH does not get bothered when I temp at 5am.
Crossing my fingers for you!

I don't know what's going on with my body but I am starting to think that we should have BD on CD 20 because I am CD 32 with no AF in sight.... I just thought it was too late to make a difference since I typically ovulate from cd 12-16. Apparently, the ONE month I don't use OPKS, it changes....
clementine / 933 posts
@nanilani: I think your timing sounds awesome! Hoping you get added to the list soon!
@Coral: Ugh, that's so frustrating! You sure you're out, and not with the late AF?
