June POAS: TTC 6+ Months

    @MrsKRB: Aww I'm so sorry you're feeling down right now. Totally, totally normal and understandable - anyone who has difficulty conceiving has been there. Hope you're able to exercise some self-care during your vacation, with or without adult bevvies

    I'm feeling "okay"... just anxious. I haaaaate this part of the 2ww. Don't worry too much about your symptoms right now, I have learned not to trust any new feelings anyway - they could be anything.

    @MrsKRB: *hugs* I'm feeling really down today, too. The chances of me being pregnant are just so, so slim, and I'm already so sick of waiting.

    Just came home from work to find brown spotting. I don't know whether or not to hold on any hope for this cycle... So, so disappointing

    @YogiRunner: so sad to hear that! Big hugs and prayers.

    It seems like we need a group hug- so HUUUUUUUGGGG!

    I had a migraine today, which almost never happens midcycle. I wonder if femara caused it. My gyn ordered a new SA for DH, so he just needs to get that scheduled. I'm hoping he doesn't drag his feet on scheduling since he's working a bunch. I did have a little bit of hope today. DH thinks that his morphology will increase, he just doesn't know how much. Our plan is to do metformin and femara this cycle, and if SA is significantly better, to continue that for a total of 3 months before seeing RE. If that doesn't work, or it's not much better, we will see RE and probably do IUI. I have a good feeling this cycle, though I've had that before and maybe I'm just telling myself what I want to hear. Due date would be March, and I would still be 35, we should be moved into the new house, and assuming that DH's morphology has been low all along, this is the first cycle with a real chance.

    @YogiRunner: don't give up! You're only what, 9/10dpo? Could totally be implantation! How was your progesterone?

    @AmeliaBedilia: it's possible! I've had done weird headaches on Femara, also dizzy spells.

    @YogiRunner: Yes, it could be implantation! How long is your luteal phase normally??

    @MrsKRB: I'm so sorry that you are feeling down too! This is such a hard thing to go through and is why we have each other. I'm very thankful that we have this forum to cheer each other on.

    @MrsKRB: @NorthStar: I'm just so used to spotting= disappointment. I'm 10dpo and normal LP is about 11 days. I didn't get my progesterone tested this cycle, but last cycle I think it was 20 or 25, which I'm told is fine? Being in limbo sucks.

    @AmeliaBedilia: thank you for the virtual hug!!! I totally needed it.

    So, so thankful for you ladies. This is a tough journey to go solo.

    Hey ladies I'm out. Another short LP for me, just 9 days. I'm trying not to get frustrated but I can't help thinking about how last summer we got pregnant on a lovely, romantic getaway. There was no charting, no OPKs, no checking CM but then we ended up with a sick baby. Just seems unfair. I'm just having one of those days.

    I'm rooting for all of you. I hope this board picks up and we get some BFPs.

    @delight: I'm SO sorry Are you taking B complex or anything to try to extend your LP?

    Yes, we really need some BFPs soon!

    I stayed off yesterday because I am having some period-like cramping and totally was negative. It must have been the moon or something.
    Uplifting thoughts for all of you.
    @delight I'm sorry, so depressing when you know you're out.

    @delight: I'm so sorry. It's so unfair.

    Officially out. 10 day LP which is a little disappointing, I was hoping the Clomid would extend it. I had my follow-up with my RE this morning, and our options are to go for a 3rd IUI or start IVF. We chose the 3rd IUI. I figured one more month is worth it since I had 2 good follicles each cycle and DH's count/motility was good. If that doesn't take, one month off while insurance approves IVF, and start it in August.

  15. delight

    pomelo / 5326 posts

    @NorthStar: yes I took b100 complex this month and it extended it by a day. I had this problem when conceiving DD and my first month on BComplex it went from 8-11 days and the second month I got pregnant with her. I'm going to stick with it for now.

    I'm worried my D&E in December has affected something but only time will tell.

    @YogiRunner: sorry you are out too I hope your third Iui is the winner.

    Does anyone else find they Google the exact same things every month? I'm rediculous. I am googling implantstion spotting and BFP after heavy bleeding EVERY time. Ugh.

  16. YogiRunner

    clementine / 849 posts

    @delight: YES. You're not alone, I do it every time! I realize I find the exact same threads from like 6 years ago every month (hellobee archives are the best though!). Basically, after my many months of googling the same thing, I have come to realize that there are MANY variations of normal! I wish I had an app that stopped me from googling and distracted me with something non fertility related

  17. MrsKRB

    nectarine / 2465 posts

    @YogiRunner: oh no I'm so so sorry are you going to try Clomid again or go back Femara? Enjoy those piña coladas this weekend!

    @delight: haha yes I do this! I get so irritated when I do this too, I don't know why I keep doing it to myself!

  18. delight

    pomelo / 5326 posts

    @YogiRunner: @MrsKRB: I am glad I'm not the only one that does this. I guess it's just a way to get through the TWW or to convince myself any bleeding is not actually my period. I also admit to looking at my FF chart numerous times a day

  19. YogiRunner

    clementine / 849 posts

    @MrsKRB: Thank you I'm happy the appointment was today to discuss our future plan. With a plan, I save a wee bit of my sanity! So Clomid actually raised my estradiol levels significantly, so we are sticking with that! Peak with Letrozole was 55, with Clomid it was something like 857!
    ALSO did you test this morning!? Aren't you getting on a plane for vaca?

  20. MrsKRB

    nectarine / 2465 posts

    @YogiRunner: bfn this morning, I'm 10 dpo so I know there's still time but I'm not feeling hopeful in the slightest. At least I'll enjoy some wine on the flight tonight

    Catching up after a long week at work and then 4 days out of town for a Sunday night wedding...

    @NorthStar: catching up after a busy last week, and just saw your post about the monitoring fee. That stinks!! I hope it's reasonable...

    @HellOnHeels: my fingers are crossed for you twice over - once for a bfp and twice for NO endo!

    @AmeliaBedilia: I'm so sorry to hear about the car accident. I'm glad you're just sore and not badly hurt. What a pain in the rear to have to deal with... I hope you still get to take your weekend away, despite renovation schedules (although now you have me paranoid about hot tubs because we have one at home and DH loves to get in it!) and hugs about your pg friend. IF is so hard, and it makes us feel lousy when we should feel happy for others. Be kind to yourself. <hugs>

    @YogiRunner: hope you had a nice weekend away. I'm sorry about CD1 (just saw on the other board). But, happy that you had a good appt to set a plan (yay, plans!) and that your numbers were great on the clomid. Here's hoping!

    @AMommyThang: welcome! Sorry you have to join us, but we're happy to welcome you and hope your stay is short!

    @2farmmoms: hooray for a clear HSG! <fx> for your IUI!

    @ms.line: Ha! Love the follow up instructions

    @auggiefrog: @sslm: @LibbyLou: <hugs> here's hoping this is your month!

    @stiletto_mom: I hope you caught the egg and that your tww has a happy "ending"!

    @MrsKRB: I hope this IUI did the trick!! Try not to symptom spot - I've convinced myself several months that I "must" be pregnant, and obviously haven't been. Who knows what our bodies are doing... Enjoy that wine!

    @Crystal: will be thinking about you on Thurs. Hope the surgery goes well and that it doesn't interfere with your cycle.

    @delight: I'm so sorry. <hugs>

    @AmeliaBedilia: I think you have a great plan with the femara/metformin. Have you been diagnosed with PCOS? Or did the dr just describe it? I don't have PCOS, but my dr has me on 1000mg of Metformin right now.

    @NorthStar: I am so glad your boss was supportive! What a relief.

    @MrsKRB: I go back and forth between good days and bad days, but at this point, there is never a day where I am not thinking about it. I totally understand, big hugs.

    @YogiRunner: I'm so sorry. Please be kind to yourself today. If you could invent that app, you would be a gazillionaire.

    @ms.line: Hugs, friend.

    @sslm: We do need some BFPs! It happens all to rarely on the threads the longer we've been trying.

    @delight: I google implantation bleeding *every single month*- I think I am trying to convince myself that the spotting from AF could actually be IB. I'm so sorry to hear you are out, please be kind to yourself.

    @ballerinabee: How was vacation?

    CD18 and still no confirmed O. I am really hoping it happens today, but I have been wishing that every day since CD14. OPK was positive a few days ago, but CBEFM hasn't given me a "peak fertility" symbol. We are BD every day so we can catch it, but I am getting tired!

  23. ballerinabee

    apricot / 452 posts

    @Crystal: the wedding was awesome! We had a great time in Charlotte.

    I hope you O today, I know the BD for BD's sake gets old! I'm going to start POAS (OPKs) soon. I just bought a CB fertility monitor + 30 sticks on eBay for $125. I hope it helps me pinpoint O (or a lack thereof) while we wait for IVF. I figure I can always re-sell it someday (hopefully soon!).

  24. delight

    pomelo / 5326 posts

    @Crystal: oh I hate waiting for O, it's the worst. I hope it happens today for you! Sounds like you're hitting all the right days no matter what though!!

    You have all been on my mind! Have you received those telepathic updates?!

    @MrsKRB: I'm still hopeful for you! Sending and

    @YogiRunner: big hugs, lady! I'm hope the piña coladas and time away helped to refresh you and prep you for the next IUI. Loved your suggestion to "rip off the band-aid" with my two-jobs dilemma...

    @ms.line: hope the TI was fun and... well... productive!

    @2farmmoms: loved your laugh about how it's a bit easier to ensure good swimmers in your case. We all deal with some crazy obstacles, even if they're different! That's for sure. Glad the midwives are so great and on the IUI.

    @AmeliaBedilia: good luck with the repeat SA! I'm super impressed that your DH followed through with the "plan." Hoping it turns out great!

    @NorthStar: yay that your boss was great! I may come to you for some advice on having that talk at work in the not-too-distant future.

    @LibbyLou: @sslm: @hellonheels: @AMommyThang: @auggiefrog: @stiletto_mom: Sending positive thoughts and most fertile wishes!

    @Crystal: wishing you an easy surgery and recovery! And may something good come out of all that BD-ing!

    @ballerinabee: good luck with pinpointing O with your new gadgets. Sounds like just the right investment to maybe tip the scales in your favor!

    @delight: Always so depressing when AF arrives, but it always amazes me how we get so hopeful again not long after. That cycling of up and down can wear a girl out. Here's hoping the cycle ends on the upswing for you sometime soon, in the form of a !

    I'm in the homestretch before AF, with no sperm out for a swim this month. I O'd a day later than usual so I'm hoping this will mean my next O window is a day later. That way we can have some relaxed and drunken BD while on vacation!

  26. YogiRunner

    clementine / 849 posts

    @Amorini: thank you I'm all talk about the piña coladas, I'll probably be a baby and only stick to a little wine in case I need to build up some super healthy eggs in 3 months for IVF... Buuuuuut a little itty bitty frosty drink can't hurt if it helps me chill out! Especially if it leads to "relaxed and drunken BD" - it's the very best kind!

    Hello ladies. I just returned from Aruba and unfortunately AF decided to show its ugly head yesterday

    @LoveHope: awe no!! So sorry to hear. Glad to hear your vacay was good, though so at least you had the distraction! I know how you feel, I see pregnant ladies all the time at work. A lot who shouldn't be as well...

    Did my CD21 blood draw and haven't heard anything from GP yet, so I'm going to assume it's normal. Have dates for my ultrasound and the consult with a doc at the fertility clinic, all not until middle and end of Aug. We did get lucky since when I called to confirm the appt I asked if there was anything earlier with another dr and they said they weren't booking until Oct... Somebody must have cancelled when our referral went in! So, we just keep doing what we're doing and hope we will get to cancel that appt too...

    @Amorini: thanks for your positive words. It is true that we always seem to bounce back somehow and look forward to the next cycle. Like you, I wasn't holding out much hope last cycle with only 0-5 and 0+1 swimmers. It's hard to time things right some months. Lots of luck to you too next cycle. @LoveHope: I'm so sorry. It's just not fair that other's can get pregnant so easily and we sit here, cycle after cycle, with nothing to show for it besides tears.
    @YogiRunner: I'm so sorry. I really hope your next IUI works out.
    @delight: I used to be a crazy googler. The last few cycles not so much though. I'm not sure if I've become more responsible with dr. google, or that I'm just starting to lose hope.

    AFM, I'm getting into my FW. I'm going to start using OPK's tomorrow. My last two cycles, I've been Oing earlier (CD15 and CD13) than my usual, so I'm going to make sure I am prepared to O earlier this month. I will be so mad if I got back to my regular O of CD 17 or later.

    @auggiefrog: I'm right with you. I started opks yesterday because I noticed some serious ewcm. It figures the month I start IUIs, I have more ewcm than I've ever seen since I started ttc. Anyway, I'm expecting it to be positive tonight or tomorrow, and to schedule an IUI tomorrow evening or Saturday morning most likely. Fingers crossed for us both!
