How do you label your LO's items for daycare? I'd rather not write on them with a marker. What's the best way to do this?

Inchbug labels for bottles! (the orbit ones)
We never actually labeled his spare clothes. They were in a ziplock bag with his name on it, though.

For clothes, I would just write on the tag. For bottles, I know my friends put a small piece of masking tape on the bottle and write on the tape with a sharpie.
ETA: she started with those rubber "bands" for the bottles but she didn't like them and switched to masking tape.

We bought clothing, bottle, and other dishwasher safe labels from http://www.namebubbles.com (I think we used the daycare package) and they've held up great for the past year, but we also used masking tape and marker since our daycare requires us to date food/bottles

We used painters tape on bottles. It would last multiple washes. Clothes I put in ziploc bags with her name on the bags. Bibs, sleep sacks, and now blanket have her initial on the tag.

We were required to put the date on the m so we bought tiny date labels from inchbug and put her initials and the date on. Masking tape with sharpie works too. Don't forget to label the little clear bottle caps too otherwise they get lost.

I got labels from this shop, they are waterproof. I label tags with a sharpie. https://www.etsy.com/shop/sweetgrassprints?ref=s2-header-shopname

Mabels labels? http://mabelslabels.com
I don't use them but other parents rave about them when my big one was little (3 years ago!).

I second NameBubbles labels. For bottles, I also had to write the date and amount on them so I just used pieces of masking tape for that.

Cheapest easy option- blue painters tape.
It stays on SO well even through the dishwasher. And removes with no residue for dates and such.

I have used Mabels labels, and a few other ones and they are all great - plus they are super cute

Love stickeryou for bottles. I just left clothes in her labeled bin, but it was a small room so easy to keep track of.

@LindsayInNY: Check with your daycare, both of the ones we've gone too have required us to use their stickers / labels, that's the easiest (cheapest) option!

We use Mabels Labels for bottles and such (blankets, sheets, stuffed animals, etc). We do have the clothing tag labels too but I usually just use a fabric pen and write our last name.

@LindsayInNY: We put one of these on each bottle - the labels stay on but they're erasable, so we could rewrite the date/amount on it every time. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PGS9P7U?keywords=bottle%20labels%20erasable&qid=1445533217&ref_=sr_1_3&sr=8-3
And we also had one of these on each bottle with her name - they're permanent - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0048SOBGO?keywords=bottle%20labels&qid=1445533189&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

Like PP, we used Mabel Labels for clothing and painters tape with sharpie writing for bottles.

I looked into a couple websites but found that mabel's label's bundle was the best price and had exactly what I wanted! Name bubbles was cuter (more personalization) but I really wanted the bag tags from ML.

I liked the name bubbles ones a lot. I have a variety pack with shoe labels, small round clothing labels, and some bigger labels. They also have one that you can write on with the provided grease pencil that was great for bottles. We had to provide LO's name, the date and whether it was breastmilk or formula. So much easier to have his name already on there.

I use both mabels labels and inchbug. I stalk them until they have a sale or promo code.

We loved http://label-land.com/ iron-on labels! Nothing could make these come off once they were ironed in place. Their brand new mini round designs are really cool, too!
