We are going to Legoland soon and I am wondering if a visit to the Sea Life Aquarium is worth it!

Legoland is so fun - have a great time! Will you make a weekend out of it?
We didn't go to the Aquarium, but if we had stayed for more than a day we probably would've checked it out since DD loves the Long Beach Aquarium.

@Mrs. High Heels: We are driving down and planning to do Legoland on Sat and the aquarium on Sun! We are only staying on Sat night.

@autumnlove: I'm going to LEGOLAND next week, and wondering the same thing! We also plan to go to the Zoo, though.

I don't know if all Sea Life aquariums are the same but we went to the one here in Michigan last week and I was kind of disappointed.
They did a great job of making it kid friendly with lots of ways to get really close to the fish but it was small for the price, crowded and it had a one way path through the whole thing so if you get stuck near a family who decides pushing a shopping cart full of children who would prefer to walk through it sounds like a good idea then you're up a creek.
I would definitely go again but if I had the option of a zoo or something else outside with more room to roam I would probably pick that.

No, but we have membership to our local SeaLife, which isn't particularly big. The one at Lego Land looks bigger though! We were able to easily spend the whole day at LegoLand, Cam loved the rides! Bring towels and a change of clothes though- we didn't realize that there was so much opportunity for water play even without going in the water park. You know how hot it was when we were there, so he dried quickly, but I wish I had been more prepared.
If I were staying in the area overnight, Wild Animal Park was absolutely amazing, but that's right up our alley

It has been a long time since we went to the aquarium at Legoland. I remember it being pretty small but they had some cool sea animals we hadn't seen at other aquariums.

@autumnlove: you could do the flower fields, which is a short trip and that's literally right there. also, you need to get pizza port (the pizza carlsbad is my fave). wish we were still down there so we could meet up!

I live in SD and have barely heard of the aquarium. Probably because Sea World and the Birch Aquarium are much better...

@birdofafeather: Ooooh, Flower Fields! Yea, we have a membership to the Long Beach aquarium so we might just skip the aquarium. Thanks for the pizza rec.
Thanks everyone!

Not sure what it's called, but the aquarium in Long Beach is fantastic.
