@PrincessBaby: Did you see this maxi that matches the pattern of the outfits you got for the girls? This is what I was considering for Mother's Day, but maxis are so hit or miss on me (short girl problems).

@PrincessBaby: I'm not really into LP but those are stinkin' adorable!

@twodoghouse: I saw that and it is a cute dress but believe it or not, it gets too hot/crazy humid here for maxis:) My legs get sweaty so I gave them up, haha. Good luck with your matching!
@mauxie: Thank you! I'm just on maternity leave with no baby yet so I have nothing better to do than find useless things like this lol...

@PrincessBaby: Super cute finds - thanks to you and @twodoghouse: I may need to do some shopping. Gotta love Hello Bee for some good old fashioned shopping enabling!
I love the short navy dress but spend way too much time on the floor with my toddlers (omg I can't believe my littlest is essentially a toddler already) for it to be practical for me. Can you buy it and return later if it doesn't work PP?
For everyone else: If you're looking for the Target stuff, check back over the next few days. I was at Target early today doing some other shopping and kept finding random one-off items scattered around the store. I'm guessing they are either returns or items people left in odd places around the store/hid to come back for that had been restocked. I caved and bought the one toddler dress I found but resisted the home goods....which were gone on my next pass through the store.

I totally thought my order didn't go through on Saturday night, but I just got a shipping notification! (Even though I never got an order confirmation!) How strange. I'm excited to see the cute dresses for LO in the order.
I definitely think the hype got people noticing the brand, but I don't think it devalues the brand because it was a one-off collaboration.

I need an XS maxi dress for DD if anyone has one. I have a S but it's too long.

I started seeing returns in my local target today...so those of you still looking, next time you're in target I'd just take a peak.

Target sent me a completely wrong dress! I ordered a blue maxi dress and they sent me a pink and green shift dress in a totally different size.

I placed 2 orders, but at check out, it was not completed our confirmed. Just a few days ago, I received an email that my items were shipping! I bought duplicate items bc I thought my first order didn't go through.

@sunny: @mamaof4: If anyone gets anything in women's xs/s, or LO 3t, I'm interested to see what it is if you feel like dealing with that hassle. I also have a sweet little nugget that I've bought some regular LP in 3-6 months for, but I don't think she did baby stuff for Target...

@princessbaby what size do you typically wear? I bought girls xl, fits size 4/6... it IS HUGE on me

My eBay purchase arrived. I found the dress in store and got a matching tunic for T since they had nothing in 12 mo at my store. I'm happy I found one. I figure by the time I picked out something else for family photos I would have spent more on her outfit than snagging this online. @littlejoy so excited for beach family photos

I think I don't understand this Lilly Pulitzer. Is it vacation wear? Is it popular? Is it like wearing a Vera Bradley bad head to toe?
clementine / 903 posts
@BandDmommy: I see... Not from the South. I had heard of it but never seen it, nor do I regularly hear anyone talk about it. I don't know if it is as popular where I am, or maybe I am living under a rock. But the prints are loud, so you'd think I would have seen them if lots were wearing it around here!

@mrscobee: not all of her stuff is loud.. Her collaboration with target is larger bold prints.
clementine / 903 posts
@BandDmommy: Oh I see. I'll have to check it out! I don't necessarily mind loud - it just seemed really loud!! Haha! But I'll have to pop over to her website!

@mrscobee: haha, I have some similar questions. I do like some of the dresses, but overall, I just don't "get" the ga-ga hype. I can't get fully on board with any designer who is still rocking skorts as a staple of their line.
coconut / 8430 posts
@BandDmommy: Nope! Even though the print is cute, I know it won't fit. I ordered an XS and an 8 showed up. Oh well! I am still waiting for the items I ordered for LO... I'm hoping some of those are what I actually ordered!

@mrscobee: It's resort wear, I don't see it often, but there was a period of time where it seemed like every time I went to a conference, it was a see of Lily.
grapefruit / 4455 posts
@mrscobee: lol I think of aloha shirts so you're not alone not getting it.
Eta, and I'm not necessarily always opposed to aloha shirts or loud but I just wasn't expecting the rush!

@BandDmommy: very popular on the Cape, too - the land of Jackie Kennedy

@rachiecakes: @BandDmommy: @mrscobee: yeah I actually saw way more Lilly going to prep school in New England than I do now that I live in the South.

@Truth Bombs: I see a lot in Saratoga Springs, too. That's where I look forward to debuting my new summer Lilly's each year.
Lilly's mother and stepfather lived there, owned/bred thoroughbreds. They've had Lilly events at the racetrack
Also - anyone that missed the Target sale. Lilly Pulitzer has a twice yearly sale with amazing deals. There was one in January and I believe it was August last year. I've scored shift dresses for $70, murfee scarves for $35, fantastic sale.
