What names do you love and try to suggest to others to use but you would never use on your kid?
I have been suggesting Francesca nn Frankie and Imogene for girls and I love Callum and Walker for boys. I would LOVE to see those names on babies but I can't see them on mine. Anyone else have names like these?

Jack- has always been one of my absolute favorites going back to when Newsies came out, but it doesn't sound very good with our last name and now I know too many.
Also any names with a hard O- Nolan, Logan, Holden, rhyme too much wth our last name.

Willow. It goes completely against my normal naming style but I just really like it. My husband hates it and thinks it's much too "hippy".

Harriet, Harrison and Clara - LOVE all 3 but not with DH's name.
Ezmerelda - a little too out there but I love it. Maybe a future cat?

Hazel (too similar to our last name), Violet (DH thinks it sounds like a drug reference with our last name - think purple haze), and Grace which basically rhymes with our last name. Also a variety of cool/borderline weird names that I couldn't ever sell DH on - Shepherd, Archer, Marigold, Ambrose, Juniper, Wren.

I like a bunch of H names that don't work because our last name begins with the same letter. Hunter, Hayden, Harrison, etc.

Gwendolyn, Graham, Ezra- DH doesn't care for them. He doesn't think they sound good with our last name.

Basically any names that start with an M - my hubby's/kid's last name starts with an M and DH is dead against them having the initials M&M

Alexander is my favorite boy name but it is awful with our last name. Also Max and Felix.
Love Sadie for a girl but that's what I named our dog! Lucy and Alexa or Lexie or some version of that and Alice I love but are terrible with our last name. Charlotte, Elizabeth, and Katherine because our two already have "royal" names. (For that matter, Charlie for a boy too)

Anything with an H- Hayden and Hazel are favorites, but H is our last name. I don't mind an HH, but my husband isn't a fan.

It was my #1 boys name, but DH's last name is also a word that could be applied to jeans...so Levi is out.
