I'm hesitate to even ask this because I'm not sure if 2 years old can lie, but my husband seems a little concerned and I'm not sure what to do so here goes.

We quiz LO a lot for fun. One of our questions to him is "How old are you?" and he normally answers with 2.

Last week he accidentally said 3. I guess we giggled a bit and said no no that's the wrong answer and asked again and he still said 3 but also giggled right after he said it.

So now half the time we ask him "How old are you?" he answers 2 and the other half he pauses for a while and then answers 3 and laughs his head off. It's very silly. We don't giggle when he gets it wrong just that first time but he almost right away laughs at himself that maybe I might smile at that but I try really hard to not encourage him.

Honestly I don't think it's all that bad because he's 2 but DH is not happy about this.

Anyways should I be concerned about this and if so how do I stop him from doing this?
