It is close, but I choose the carpal tunnel. Both hands for 10 weeks. AWFUL.

@Meridian: I never had it last time, so it was new to me!
@autumnlove: HAHAHA! I don't think I've ever heard of that!
@emg86: My back has been popping a ton lately.
@oliviaoblivia: I want a beer so so bad.

@autumnlove: yes, snissing. And....vomissing. Peeing while vomiting. TMI, I know. But super annoying.

@Mrs. Coral: omg, I thought I was the only one who vomissed. That didn't happen with my first pregnancy!

@Boogs: As I was kneeling over the toilet and this happened to me, I was wondering what the right thing to do was...laugh? cry? be horribly ashamed? All seemed appropriate at the time.
PS: My back itches like crazy after reading this thread.

Two words: Pregnancy acne. UGH! I look like a 14 year old. I could not be more annoyed.

The rib pain! I have a short torso, and am carrying high, so it feels like this baby is wedged up in my ribs, and it just hurts!
I can't wait for this whole dropping thing everybody talks about- maybe I'll have to pee every 5 minutes, but at least she'll be out of my ribcage!

It was my extremely sensitive gag reflex! I feared brushing my teeth because I lost count how many times it made me puke.

I feel like I have almost everything everyone has mentioned. I have been snissing since I was pregnant with my first and never really got over it the past 2.5 years.
My worst is weird. I wake up sneezing uncontrollably every morning around 3:45. (Plus cue inevitable snissing). It drives me crazy. Usually I am then up for the day.

I'm with you on the itching! Just talked to my doctor today, and she OK'd me to take freeze-dried nettle pills. They helped a ton last year when I had hives that wouldn't go away, hopefully they help this time too.

At the moment, middle of the night peeing.
And there's the SPD, round ligament pain and the gigantic belly that I have to hold up when I walk.

@californiadreams: It lasts my entire pregnancy and sucks. My dentist said try not using toothpaste and it should help, but somehow it doesn't feel as clean.
@MamaMoose: Have you tried taking only half a pill at a time to see if it helps?

It's a weird one for me: my ears feel stuffed as if I have a cold. It started at 6 weeks this time and is still going strong at 17 weeks. I hate, hate, hate it! I hear everything muffled - drives me crazy at work. The only way to stop it is to lay down flat.

@Boogs: oh I'm not currently pregnant (thanks goodness!!) I just remember that being a really annoying cycle.

Overall, I would say breathlessness and feeling tired. Lately I've had awful insomnia so that's what I'll be complaining about today.

@MamaMoose: yep, also this! So painful!
@Mrs. Jump Rope: SPD also awful. Almost done, lady!
@autumnlove: terrible, terrible, terrible. It hurt so bad

Mine was the ankle swelling. I wasn't prepared for it and the compression stockings, oh my.

@LovelyPlum: did you have it and successfully deliver?
eggplant / 11408 posts
@Mrs. Jump Rope: so I had something similar-both of my hips dislocated slightly from my falls this winter, and due to my friend relaxin, they *would not* stay back in. The ligaments around my pubic bone also got really, really tight when they were out of place. It was basically a hot mess. Yes, I did deliver, but it was not fun. I pretty much bit the nurse's head off when she tried to put my legs in the stirrups-that was worse than any back labor I had to that point. They had to get creative with positioning when I was pushing and ended up dropping the foot of the bed down so my body and legs were completely flat, my knees were bent at 90 degrees, and my feet were on the little step they created below the bed by dropping it down. That was literally the only way I wasn't writhing in pain. I also took the vacuum assist the second they offered it, because I could feel my hips moving as baby dropped. I don't know how much my experience in delivery translates to the experience of someone with SPD, but I do know that my symptoms before it were really similar. I don't mean to scare anyone with my experience, though. In the end, it turned out OK, and I felt a million times better as soon as she was out!

The inability to control my emotions. I can deal with all the physical stuff, but crying during a client meeting because they said something sweet? Borderline crazy / inappropriate.

Currently it's the nausea that NEVER goes away, but I'm sure as my pregnancy progresses it will change to carpal tunnel, sciatic pain, etc.
