Do you know when or where you're going for your next vacation?
DH is thinking maybe a trip back east next summer. I would like to maybe throw in another one or two small trips before then, maybe a road trip somewhere in another part of the state or a nearby state.

We are going to Cape San Blas (FL) in August with DH's family (his parents are paying!) and then hopefully Hawaii in September. We've never been to Hawaii, so excited!

@Smurfette: We love Cap San Blas! We all take our dogs and his parents rent a big house and it's great because it's so relaxing out there.
@Boogs: I'm thinking Maui. I've heard good things about Lahaina and trying to find something there for a week. I still have a lot of research to do, but any tips are welcome!

@Tanjowen: I haven't been. But I am nervous FIL likes to eat out every night and DH says everything is like an hour away. That won't work with LO. They forget she has a bedtime.

@Smurfette: There is one restaurant that closes around 8 p.m., but it is decent. There was a BBQ place too but not sure it's still open. Port St. Joe is about 30-45 minutes away depending on where you are staying down there, and it's where we have to go for groceries.

We're going to Kennebunkport, Maine in July and then my husband and I are doing 2 days in Boston in Aug. I think we'll also do a weekend in Pittsburgh in Nov before Thanksgiving.

We typically go to the beach (outer banks). But this summer we are trying out the Hudson valley!! 2 hour drive compared to 8!! Woohoo!!

We're going to Florida in September. DH doesn't travel in the summer. He will have to change his tune when the kids start school but for now I oblige his extreme aversion to crowds.

We are leaving TOMORROW for our big family beach vacation in NC. I'm so excited I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight (lol jk, I have two young children, if I'm not sleeping it's only because of them

@Tanjowen: please also consider Kauai and Oahu (north shore mainly)! I've been to all of the four main islands multiple times and Kauai is hands down the most scenic. Stunning, actually. You've mentioned your DH is a pilot, I think you would both really appreciate the doorless helicopter ride on Kauai. Pricey, but must do in Kauai.
My personal fav is Oahu, you can easily spend an entire week on the north shore alone. Google shark's cove, it's a large shallow protected area, truly a paradise for little kids/snorkelers!

This summer, we're doing a staycation at the end of July.
My husband mentioned going away in October but with my son beginning kinder, I am not onboard right now.

We pretty much only go to Ottawa, ON to visit in laws. Or take vacation days when they come visit us. I would love a real vacation sometime soon!!!
Headed to Ottawa for a wedding in November and we'll stay a week.

Tennessee in September. Me and my family will be spending almost a week in the mountains in a huge cabin mad for 38 people I'm excited to be doing such a big family trip like that.

In about two weeks I'm going to visit my BFF in Denver...no DS...no husband. Yesssssss.
We are thinking of going somewhere in August for a week as a family. Not sure where but somewhere in the US.
Our anniversary and my 35th bday are end of August/early Sept. So we want to do a kid-free vacation somewhere in Europe. Maybe Spain or Paris. Open to suggestions

Hubs and I are going to Pittsburgh in September for the Penn State v Pitt game. And then we're taking the kids to Florida the week of Thanksgiving.
