Their one great grandma through adoption is Gee gee. She came with that name as we didn't find her until recently and she has other great grand kids. Adoption rules!

We call one set "maw-maw" & "paw-paw". Another set just goes by the names we call them as grand kids since it doesn't match any other grandparents names. The third set we just add the last name which isn't my favorite but DS picked it up quickly & we don't see the 4th set and refer to them with their last name.

We use Gigi and grandpa. Gets confusing when my dad (also grandpa) and my grandpa are intoe same room but it works!

My husbands grandmother is GG...she came with that name because she has other grandchildren. My other grandmothers are GG bess and GG shirsh (both their nicknames). My grandfather has always been Grumpy Bill and so that's his great grandfather name too. All of our other grandfathers are deceased.

We call great grandma, G.G. For great grandpa, he goes by the name that I grew up calling him - Poppy.

Our LO will only have 3 great-grandparents, so hopefully it won't be too difficult. Growing up a couple of mine had different names than any of my grandparents (Granny and Paw-paw vs. Grandma and Grandaddy/Grandpa), but not sure if those were what they were called by my parents or not. The others all just got called by Grandma/Grandaddy plus their last name. I'm figuring we'll do something similar, except to me that would be weird since that would mean calling my grandparents what I used to call my great-grandparents. Hmm. I hadn't thought of this before!

My LO has one great grandmother who he spends time with on a regular basis (he has two more, but has only met them each once). He calls her the same thing I do- Nanny.

Don't have kids yet, but my cousins kids all call our grandparents "big-ma" and "big-pa".
I think it's adorable. My grandma wanted to be Gigi like her mom was when we were little, but big-ma stuck, and I think it's grown on her.

DHs grandparents get called the same as what DH and his sibs call them.

My grandmother will be GiGi too. My grandfather I guess will just be Pop Pop, which is what I call him. (But my dad will be Pop, and DH's dad will be Lolo, so no confusion there). I only have them, DH only has his one grandmother left, I think she'll be called Grand-Lola?

Hrm, my son doesn't address his great grandmothers, but we'd just go with Urgrossi First name and then Bisnonna.

My grandmother goes by a unique name as her grandma name so LO just uses the same one.
