I nursed morning and night from 15 months until just after 2. DD is now 26 months and we nurse just at bedtime.

I pumped until 16 months, and the gradually have cut back sessions when we're together. Now at almost 2 we're down to bedtime and sometimes she asks in the am and afternoon after work. No problems with supply, though obs there is less available if she does and extra session. She doesn't seem to mind much.

I finally purposefully night weaned a couple weeks ago when I realized she was never fully going to do it on her own. I think maybe the nighttime nursing does help keep up your supply too.

I pumped until 14 months and have been nursing just morning and night for the past month (and sometimes overnight). I had a big oversupply and have noticed a significant decrease since dropping the pump, but I have plenty for 2-3 sessions/day. He knows we don't nurse unless it's in his rocking chair in his room and doesn't ask otherwise. I would like to keep nursing until 2ish or until he self-weans.

I had a similar experience to @mamabird with my DD. I pumped until 16 months, then did just morning/night for a few months, then just night and finally stopped completely at 22 months mostly because we were TTC and I was kind of done. It was no big deal. I never did much night nursing--DD started STTN at 8 weeks so it was only when she was sick/teething (very rarely and only until about a year, after a year I made DH deal with MOTN wake ups which were super super rare). No supply issues despite no night nursing.

At around 13 months, I started working with my daughter to stop nursing during the day. We started moving towards nursing at nap, bedtime, wake ups at night, and morning. By 15 months, we were down to bedtime and either middle of the night or morning. She's 17 months now, and we still do those two nursing sessions. I don't have a ton of milk anymore, but she gets a bit of milk and a lot of comfort still. I am 11 weeks pregnant, so I'm not sure what will happen with my supply or if she will self wean. But we'll happily continue nursing while it works for us both.

I stopped pumping around 10 mo and continued to nurse morning and night, with a few sporadic daytime feedings (not every day), until 13 or 14 mo, and then dropped the morning session and random daytime sessions, and continued with the bedtime session only until about 15 mo, when I was ready to stop. I was amazed that LO did not ever mention or ask for it again after that last session - she was so ready to be done and I had no idea! Supply was never an issue. But it may be relevant that I generally had oversupply issues during my BF journey.

Around a year, we were nursing five times a day. By 18 months we were down to two. And now at 22 months it's just right before bed. I don't think my supply dipped too drastically until I got pregnant when my daughter was 19 or so months. But that still hasn't stopped her.
