Any suggestions for awesome nursing pads?
I have already been leaking a little at night (34wks). I purchased the Lansinoh disposable ones and wore one for a bit yesterday to try out. I found it soooo itchy. So they're definitely getting returned.
I'm open to reusable and disposable...I just want them to feel comfy. We have Amazon Prine so buying from there would be ideal, but Target works too.

Is this your first child? I only ask because if you find them rough you might have to just get used to them..which may only happen once you start breastfeeding.
I wore lansinoh initially because my sister gave me some and then I tried medela (and didn't like them) and then bought my local grocery store brand and I love them. They're my favourite, sturdy and thick. I don't stick any of them in my bra because I find they get mushed and don't last as long.
I tried reusable, one store brand and one homemade set from a friend and didn't like feeling wetness against my skin and I leaked through the store ones.

I used these (ended up buying a second set so I could get through most of the week before having to do laundry) and was very satisfied. My one issue was that I found they showed through a lot of my shirts, but I have big boobs and don't buy molded/lined bras, so YMMV.

I don't like the feel of disposable and have tried a few cloth brands. I like the Milk daze ones by Cottonbabies the best - just ordered another set so I don't have to worry about washing constantly. They stay in place better than the round ones and I don't feel them in my shirt/bra.

I loved loved loved the Johnson's ones and already have them on my secret Amazon list for this pregnancy (and I'm only 9.5 weeks!) They have a cut out/not h inside for your nipple so it's not rubbing as much. And the shape is nice and fairly discrete. I liked them way more than lansinoh or medela.

Also hated the Lansinoh/Medela disposables, they're so itchy. And I didn't like Bamboozies, which were gifted to me--they bunched up and wrinkled and weren't absorbent. I finally got the Brooklyn Baby Bamboo nursing pads on Amazon Prime and really liked them, they're so soft and absorbent and not bulky and they were rounded so they didn't wrinkle under nursing tanks. I tried linking but they're unavailable now, but there are a ton of similar ones on Prime. The Serenity ones look good--they're rounded and not hot pink

I used bamboobies and very much preferred them to the disposable ones. They make some for overnights too. Definitely recommend them!

Always preferred the reusuables, the disposables trapped a lot of moisture. I just bought cheapies on amazon. They are thick like PP said but i was usually wearing 2 shirts in those early days for nursing so it wasn't so bad

I tried many brands of disposables and did not like any of them. I used the Nuk reusable ones with both kids. They get softer after a few washes.

This is my first time nursing, I'm not 4 months in and think I have tried everything. I tried reusable and couldn't stand the wet feeling. Lansinoh and Medela both made me itch and irritated my nipples. Nuks we're okay, but my favorite so far have been the "Hey Mama" ones. I bought them on Amazon and the pads stay in place, I can't feel the wetness and the price is really comparable.

At night the best thing I found was to tuck a cloth diaper into my nursing tank. It's absorbent and I don't have to worry about things shifting around. Daytime I preferred Lansinoh disposables or the reusable organic bamboo ones on Amazon - they're all pretty much the same.

I'd always leak through the reusable ones, so Lansinoh were the best.
