DS is 30 months. He drinks water out of Contigo straw cups and that's just about the only thing we allow him to drink away from the table. If he needs to drink milk for some reason not at the table, then he uses a Munchkin 360 cup.

For open cups at the table, right now we give him very small amounts more frequently. We like these disposable shot glasses (they look like red solo cups but they are tiny) - they are perfect for little hands and he does a good job sipping out of them. We are probably going to move him to these once I replace my current hoard of mismatched plastic kids plates/cups, since they are fairly rugged in terms of breakage. Most of the time, we give her half-pint mason jars to drink out of, or regular tumbler-size glasses. They are heavy enough not to knock over easily, and she has never broken one.
