I posted about this once before, but thought I would try again because it's still there and so weird!

E has a red spot on her thigh, almost like a mosquito bite. When she gets upset it gets redder and more pronounced/raised.

DH was the one who noticed that it was in the exact same spot where she got her first vaccination in the hospital (Hepatitis B?). It doesn't seem to bother her at all. Every time we ask a pediatrician (we don't see the same one every time) they either say "Hmm, that's odd. Well, sometimes babies have a reaction, it'll probably fade in time" or "Maybe it's a birth mark." She's never had a reaction to any other vaccination. She's now a little over a year old. It hasn't faded at all.

Just curious if anyone else ever experienced this? We acknowledge that it could be completely unrelated to the shot, but it just doesn't seem right to be a birth mark.

Thanks, bees!
