We have had our dog for 6 years, she was around before our children, she was like my first born child. I know (sadly) that our relationship has changed since having the girls. I still love her, I'm her owner, she curls up with me at night, but I feel sad that I don't give her the love she used to get. I sometimes look at her and wonder if she's sad.
Anyone else have this guilt? She is a huge part of our family (she sleeps with us, the girls love her/she tolerate them haha) but I still feel guilt!

We used to go to the dog park almost every day no matter the weather. Now, that definitely doesn't happen. I do take him to doggy day care a few times a month but it's expensive. It does help with the guilt a little bit! I'm hoping we get out more when winter is over, but I can't really walk him alone with a baby so we usually have to wait until my husband gets home from work. I have ventured to the dog park with the baby but I also feel a bit nervous doing that, so it's a rarity.
