Did you have changes to your period when it returned postpartum. Mine is drastically different after baby #2. It is a 8/9 day cycle and super, super heavy. Prior to baby it was 3/4 days and not very heavy. I had a RCS and a tubal ligation, so I'm not sure if those have caused such a drastic change.
This new change is for the birds!

Mine was a little lighter than it had been pre-pregnancy. We'll see if it's different after #2. Sorry yours is worse!

my first period post LO2 was WAY heavier and way longer tha before. Hoping it goes back to how it was soon!

My periods after #2, also a repeat c/s and tubal were much heavier for about a year and then they went back to normal.

Before baby my period was super heavy with horrible cramps. I've only had two cycles PP but they are considerably lighter with minor cramps. I used to have 4/5 days of heavy now it's 1/2 of medium with an additional 4/5 days of spotting. so a little longer but I'll take it. As I get more cycles PP we'll see how it evolves.

Mine was super heavy/painful too. Stayed like that until I got pregnant again (for like 8-ish months?)

Post-partum, it was lighter, lasted fewer days, and my cycles were like 45 days long for awhile. After about 6 months, they got normal. I've also had a couple losses, and after those, it got heavier, lasted longer, and my cycles got really irregular (ranging from 28 to 38 days). So it's been kind of all over the place for me.
