Just wanted to share that there is no shame in letting her poop in a diaper for a little while and pee in the potty. You aren’t regressing her or damaging her. Don’t put diaper on until she needs to poop (so she doesn’t pee in the diaper too). It’s VERY COMMON to be pee trained before poop trained. And the 3 day method can sometimes backfire if she wasn’t truly ready yet (meaning regressions).
It can be SO MUCH WORSE if you refuse a diaper and she holds poop and it becomes a vicious cycle - she doesn’t want to poop because the last time hurt. So she holds it in. And then she can’t hold it any longer and it hurts because she was holding it. Repeat.
Ask any pediatrician or teacher - peeing in the potty before pooping is extremely normal and it’s best for everyone if you wait till she is willing to poop in the potty.

And just to share - my son is now 4y4mo. At 3yo he was very willing to pee in the potty so we went for it. We waited till he was truly ready and he has, in 1yr4m, had maybe 10 pee accidents TOTAL. And most of them are a drop in his undies! Like he stops and finishes in the potty because he realizes what is happening. Full on pee soaked pants? Idk...3 Times in over a year???? I’m not exaggerating.
So poop was much more difficult. He refused. I read a ton. I asked friends. I asked his pediatrician. She assured me it’s normal and to just wait till he’s ready. Till 3.5 years he asked for a diaper to poop. It felt like it would never change (we also had our 2nd baby in this time). My ped assured me “he won’t go to kindergarten in a diaper. Let him take the lead”. That is not my personality. I am very cold turkey/Rip the bandaid off with most things. But this...I just felt at a loss. Putting pressure on him backfired. So I just tried my hardest to sit back and wait (and it’s an understatement to say it was hard and went against every fiber of my being). At 3.5yo he did it. We were at a museum and he said he had to go so we took him to the bathroom. We could tell he didn’t want to go in his diaper so we very gently offered the toilet. And he just...agreed!!!!! After months and months of coaxing and bribing and him refusing, he just agreed. That was 8 moths ago and I’m not exaggerating when I say LITERALLY NO POOP ACCIDENTS EVER. It’s never happened.
I did nothing special myself - no bribe or coaxing or convincing. I just waited till he said “ok” and he has pooped on the potty ever since.
