Are they true to size or run big/small? I want to order DD some converse to wear this fall and didn't know if I should do a 5 or 6.

They are probably true to size. LO wears Nike and Converse sneakers and I think Nike is small.

Okay, her Nike's seem to run small (sandals and tennis shoes) I might get the bigger size just so she can grow into them. Her Nike's are a 6, other shoes are a 5. I want them for fall though.

My DS measures 8 in stride rite and is wearing size 7 cons (Velcro) so they run large for us.

@locavore_mama: I actually found a pair on Kohl's that I thought was a pretty decent price. And they have another pair that is pretty decent.

So I measured LO's Converse (she has 1 pair of size 4's and two pairs of size 5's) last night against a couple of other brands and they don't seem to run that much larger than other brands of the same size. They were a little bit larger than Stride-Rite sneakers (not tons bigger, just a little bit) and smaller than Hello Kitty brand sneakers. They were comparable to the other shoes has.

@yoursilverlining: THANK YOU! I think I will order her the bigger size, I put her size 5 Target sandals on her this morning and I think her feet grew over night again, they are almost too small. Her Nike's are a size 6.

I find converse to run about a full size bigger than other brands. My daughter is in a 6 in pumas and other brands, and a 5 in converse.

@LuLu Mom: usually 2-3 weeks after the BOGO sale runs! Their BOGO sales run for a pretty long time! Are you a reward member? The additional 15% sale usually happens 1-2 weeks before school starts.
I remember because we usually buy new shoes when they run the BOGO + 15% off sale. It's like getting a pair of shoes FREE! Last summer my niece & nephews were here either the week or two before school started and we got all the kids new shoes for the school year. -

@LuLu Mom: it usually comes through email too! I got my rewards coupon a few weeks ago for $10 and it doesn't expire till end of September.
