LO is 18 month old and I am curious if this is happening to you.

He's been "difficult" during bedtime now for months. I shouldn't say "difficult" but I don't have a better word for it. So at bedtime, I'll ask him to pick several books, and we'll read it together before bedtime. After we finish the stories it should be bedtime, and I'll tell him it is bedtime now, good night (well, maybe I don't really have consistent language, but somewhere along that line). I'll walk out, and he knows I am leaving, so he'd stand up and scream and cry! I can't really stay and calm him or he won't go to sleep. However, once I leave the room, he'd cry for maybe 1 minute and falls asleep within 5 minutes.

We don't really have a "problem" as of now, but I am a bit worried about when he can climb out of his crib in a few months, and we have to take down the rail (or do the floor mattress Montessori style). I just don't know what would happen - would he cry and chase after me and won't go to sleep, and I'll have to do what "Super Nanny" (TV show) does, and have to repeatedly carry him back to his bed and tell him to go to sleep, and repeat this for hours?

Did this happen to you and did you have a solution to that? Advice needed!
