I just had bright red blood when I wiped. It is too early for AF and I am praying she is not heading my way because I don't need an extra problem hitching a ride on my TTC journey.
Did anyone have bright red implantation bleeding? I didn't have implantation bleeding in either of my pregnancies.

I just tested it again and it was brown. Urgh, I'm trying g so hard not to cry, I want to be pregnant so badly

I had some bleeding right around 7dpo and I was sure I was getting my period but I tested a few days later and got a bfp. I did have bleeding through the first trimester but had a normal pregnancy.

I totally had implantation bleeding exactly as you described and I thought I was getting my period as it was expected at that time. It lasted a few days which then seemed like an unusually light period so I finally tested and got a BFP. Fingers crossed for you!!

@travelgirl1: I had red blood at 9dpo with this pregnancy. Just a little and then it was gone. Praying that it's a good sign for you!!

@travelgirl1: I had lots bright red blood at 8 dpo, which lasted for a few days, then brown spotting. I thought it was AF for days and days but after a positive ovulation test on what I thought was CD 8, I did a pregnancy test and was pregnant! I had bleeding for the early weeks of pregnancy but I am now 11 weeks and everything looks fine. So I wouldn't count yourself out.

I had a tiny bit of bright red blood when I wiped around the same time. Nothing like an early period but it was so little I didn't think a whole lot of it. I was pregnant with my son that month and got a positive test a few days later.

AF isn't due until Friday so I was really anxious that if it is a period, then my LP is suddenly very short and another issue to worry about going forward. Hopefully that won't be the case

@travelgirl1: I agree -- it IS an emotional issue. I got AF today and started crying. I was surprised I got that emotional but I just couldn't help it. Hugs to you and I hope you get your BFP soon!

I think the reason it is freaking me out so much is it reminds me of the way my miscarriage started - bleeding when I wasn't supposed to be, terrified it meant something bad was happening and too scared to go to the bathroom in case it happened again. Obviously it is different but it feels similar. I'm sorry about AF, I hope you get your 
soon!

@travelgirl1: I know what you mean....spotting freaks the crap out of me. I had a miscarriage and chemical pregnancy back to back so I can't help but think spotting either means that AF is coming which blows or I could be pregnant but something is going wrong, which blows even harder! It's definitely reassuring when you hear ladies who've experienced bleeding but everything turned out fine! Sending you lots of positive vibes!!!

I had pinkish and then brownish bleeding for about 24 hours around 8 or 9 DPO and it was a BFP. Keeping fingers crossed for you!

But no more bleeding. I had a bit of brown following the red last night but nothing today so far. So we shall see.

@travelgirl1: i don't want to get you too hopeful just in case, but the more you describe, the more it sounds like the implantation bleeding i had. i was not TTC as you know, so i remember because i thought it was pre-period spotting. i even used a light tampons and i think it was sort off and on for 3 days varying between red and brown before it stopped. i can't be sure though as it was so long ago now and at the time i wasn't looking at it as possible implantation.

@BandDmommy: Wednesday. I'll be 12 days PO then and have an acupuncture appointment that night so it would be good to discuss the results either way. I have a FRER ready and waiting, ha.

@BandDmommy: Ha ha, no, but I was so tempted to! Although I already have a FRER at home I went and bought one of the more sensitive (or so the manufacturers claim!) ones so if it's negative I'm not tempted to test again.
