We are doing clomid with an ovidril trigger this month. I have generally ovulate around cd 16/17 with clomid and no trigger. I go for a follicle scan on Wednesday which will be cd13, and dh will be out of town, but only 3 hours away.
Did you trigger before you would normally O?

Yes at times I did - based on the follicle scan and their recommendation. I think sometimes They want you to ovulate bit earlier than usual so I’d ask their advice.

I've only used a trigger once but it was the night of my positive OPK.

Last cycle, I triggered earlier than I would normally O when using femara and a trigger shot. I had a cd10 scan and triggered on cd11 for an IUI on cd13. I normally don't O until cd15-17 for comparison.

Really, driving is t a big deal, it’s just getting the other kids squared away that is tricky. Oh well, we will see. -

What dosage clomid? Are you doing progesterone after? I'm not gonna do monitored cycles til this summer though.

I’m only doing 50 mg this time, but if it doesn’t work this month we will move to 100 mg. We will do progesterone after, I think just the capsules.

@LAZB: 100 I guess, I will do that with natural cycle (lol sex, no IUI) next month. My RE in the consult said I needed "luteal support" aka progesterone but then it wasn't in my protocol rx plan so who knows. I have a very long and sordid history with progesterone so I'm not sold on it but it helped me get pregnant (maybe?) twice in the past.
