Oh my gosh, ladies, I have had such a crazy day! As many of you know, this morning I went to my first ultrasound to check for viability and discovered that everything was totally fine and healthy with my baby!

WELL... 8 hours later, I get an urgent call from my doctor's office. My blood test results are back and I'm Rh-Negative. Since we don't know what blood type my husband is, I had to get an injection of Rh Immune Globulin or else risk developing antibodies that could attack the fetus or prevent me from being able to get pregnant again! Since it was almost 5:00 (which is when my doctor's office closes), I ended up having to go to the hospital to get the shot. Well, they were in the middle of a bunch of c-sections and deliveries, so I ended up having to wait for THREE HOURS before I could get the shot!

But I finally got it and am FINALLY back home! I'm hoping this one week alone is enough pregnancy drama to last me a lifetime!!!

Anyone else Rh-Negative and have to deal with this fun?
