Knowing that Kate named her son George, I think she'll go classic royal. I'm sure Diana will be incorporated somehow.
I would like to see them use a classic name that hasn't been used in the royal family though, like Adeline! I don't think that will happen though.

I agree it will be very classic. I think Diana will be the first middle name (since royals seems to have multiple middle names).
I'll have to think of some guesses.

@lawbee11: I keep going to Elizabeth but I don't think they will name her after the queen. But that's what I still keep thinking.

I hope she uses an uncommon classic nsme tp, but doubt it will happen. My guess is Elizabeth or charlotte.
I often wonder if she has favorite names that she loves.but just cant use due to being part of the royal family. Like sn uncommon name or trendy name.

@Foodnerd81: I think at a minimum Elizabeth will be a middle name. I also think Caroline is a possibility as Kate's mom's name is Carole.

Idk, the Royals seem to recycle names quite a bit.
Anne, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine, or Alexandra if they stick with tradition. Harriet or Estelle for something new.

I wonder if they are still deciding on a name or if they are just keeping it to themselves for a few hours to savor the moment.
C was born less than two weeks after George, and when we texted our families that she was here, we hadn't fully committed to the name yet and said "name coming soon". My dad said it was so royal of us.

I'd say extremely safe and classic: Caroline, Mary or Margaret. She's 4th in line to the throne....

Alice Frances, Mary Frances or Anne Frances would be lovely (Frances being Diana's middle name).

Caroline popped into my head when I first saw the baby so I will go with that. Not sure about the middle names, but it would be nice if they used Diana.

I hope they don't name her Elizabeth as that is what we'll be naming our girl due next month and I really don't want to hear all the "oh - so you named her after the royal baby" comments.

I keep going back to Elizabeth too, but I really hope that's not it. I'm sure it will be name previously used in the royal family, I just hope it is not one that has been used to death.
Call me crazy but I don't think they will use Diana. I'm sure they would have wanted to, I just don't think they will be able to.

I'm just hoping it's anything but Charlotte. That's been such a popular name these past few years and I'm really hoping for something that is classic and yet not that trendy. (I get that Charlotte is a classic name buuuut with the amount of little "Charlie's" running around right now it also seems overly trendy.)

I think maybe Elizabeth or Victoria with Diana as a middle name. Or maybe Margaret or Anne? Definitely something classic/not trendy.

@Mrs. Jacks: Too Catholic? I think of Sts. Helena and Francis, and obviously the Pope. But it is Diana's middle name, right?
I wonder if it's harder or easier when you have about ten names you can pick from, haha!

I used to really like Charlotte, but it's a bit too common now.... I'd also love if they chose Victoria (one of my LO's middle name!), but I have a feeling they won't.
If they choose Diana, the media would just go overboard insane, I think...

@Mrs. High Heels: whoa that graphic is so cool! I was actually just wondering how the line of royalty went- I knew Charles was next, then William- but I had no idea that Williams kids are before Harry! Or that his kids are heirs to the throne before even Prince Charles' siblings.
On that list I like Louise, Zara, Sophie, Isla, and Savannah. Though Isla and Savannah are probably too close in age to use those names.

I really like those names you mentioned too, but I think those other royals had more leeway to use more unique names because they are not directly in line for the throne. I think William + Kate will definitely stick to a very classic name!

@Mrs. High Heels: yeah that's definitely a huge factor! It just would be nice to see a classic name that hasn't been used yet- there are so many beautiful names that would be "safe", even if it hasn't been used in the royal family.
