@coopsmama: I agree, obnoxious, but I can see the reasoning. Familytime together, plus no one is obviously spending a ton more money than anyone else.

Semi-homemade? We do an edible valentine. LO2 (15 mo) is doing applesauce pouches with a tag that says "you're awesome sauce, valentine". LO1 (4.5y) is doing the Annie's organic bunny snacks with a tag that says "Some "bunny" thinks you are special. Happy Valentine's Day". The older will write her name on each and help me assemble.

Probably store bought.... my LO is 18 months and could care less. He also has hand foot and mouth so we won't be crafting anything this week.

@irene: gorgrous!!
We bought Elmo ones. She's obsessed with both Elmo and little trading cards at the moment, so she will love them. The kids basically just play with the cards all day

In the process of making these now. They have stickers and temporary tattoos in them

Store bought. Honestly, I think kids like the character ones from the store more than the clever Pinterest ones.

@Andrea: agreed. We went store bought. She was pumped for Paw Patrol. I love the Pinterest ones, but those are for the parents. The younger kids don't understand the little puns.

I bought a box of Valentine's granola bars that my son can give out to his classmates. I really thought about skipping it because he's not quite two, but he is OBSESSED with granola bars ("snacks") right now, so it felt cute and easy.
