W is six months old. He's been a pretty good sleeper since birth. I rock him to sleep for bedtime and naps, he's usually out in 5-10 minutes, then I lay him in his crib. At night he generally only wakes up once between 2-4, nurses, goes right back down. For naps he's usually good for a big nap (90-120 minutes) once a day, otherwise can be a bit of a catnapper.

Should I sleep train him? I don't want to, and I don't think I need to, but I guess I feel like I should before him falling asleep in my arms becomes a problem. I tried to do it tonight but after 25 minutes (only probably 10 of them really crying, and even that was intermittent, but he never cries plus he kept bonking his head on the crib) I gave up and picked him up.

Thoughts?
