We have a 4th birthday coming up, and we've had a countdown going for about 15 days now, to say she's excited is an understatement! I want to make an extra special breakfast but I still want it to be somewhat healthy! What is your go too birthday morning breakfast?

It's her birthday so I'm sure I will give her whatever she wants, my thing is we told her she could pick wherever she wanted for lunch...and of course she picked McDonalds, so the whole day will be a bust! ha

I would do the banana and egg protein "waffles" with some pink fruit purée.

@LuLu Mom: You could make regular pancakes and put a strawberry yogurt "icing" on them - Greek yogurt is thick enough to spread, pancakes and yogurt is delicious, and then you've added a bit of protein. You could even do a pancake birthday cake - make a stack, yogurt between the layers and on top, and put a candle in it!

Do some rainbow sprinkles in the pancake batter for funfetti pancakes!
