Like @Ra:, I'm hosting Thanksgiving for the first time this year, and I'm getting a lot of good ideas from the logistics conversation! Anyone also care to share the recipes for their favorite Thanksgiving dishes?

I've made most of these before - they're starred - but here are the ones I'm planning to use:

-Good Eats turkey recipe

-*Pioneer Woman mashed potatoes

-*Cranberry sauce

-*Green beans amandine (I add extra lemon and pepper)

-*Carrots and onions glazed with brown sugar and butter
No recipe for this, just basically thick slices of yellow onion and baby carrots sauteed with tons of butter, brown sugar, salt and pepper

-Simple buttered corn
Again, duh, no recipe

-*Apple pie (I use 4 Granny Smith apples, along with 2 Cortland or Honey Crisp, add extra cinnamon, and brush the top crust with egg white and sprinkle with lots of sugar)

-Store bought pumpkin pie, rolls, and possibly stuffing I might try to make my own, but I like the pre-made stuff too and I'm trying to simplify.
