I am trying to walk more, but it's cold out so it's really hard! On a daily basis for my work week commute, I walk to the subway (4-5 blocks) and then from the subway to work (5-6 blocks). So that's 20 blocks a day? According to Google, that's about one mile.

I'd like to walk 5x that (10k steps!). I probably actually walk 2 miles a day, since I go out for coffee and lunch and also take the stairs whenever I can. Still, that's 3 more miles a day that I have to walk!

To amp up my walking, I'm gearing up to get off a few subway stops earlier than usual. It's just been so cold though, that I can't bring myself to do it!
