YES!!!!! Been planning since he was about 4 months old.

Are you going big or small?
Fairly big... We are inviting 70 people, but I know at least 20 won't come (invited family out of state for courtesy). We have a strict budget though, so we're getting creative.

At home or renting a space?
1000 sq ft apartment - no party here! We're renting two rooms at the local nature center- it's beautiful!

Theme?
Modern/Bright Woodland Animals to go along with the nature center.

Have you picked an outfit?
I have his smash cake outfit! But not his actual outfit... I did pick out an adorable yellow/grey sweater but it was too big so that won't work. He's still so small. He fits into 6-9 months but I know he won't for much longer so I didn't want to buy something he'll only fit into for another 1-2 months...

In my head yes but I've told myself that I can't really start working on it yet. I'm supposed to be focused on job hunting right now and his b-day isn't until March 26th.

Are you going big or small?
Not too big because we live far from both our families. It will probably be mostly friends (most of whom don't have kids) and the grandparents who are coming from out of town.

At home

Theme?
It's going to be during the NCAA Tournament and I'm a huge college basketball fan so it will probably be March Madness themed.

Have you picked an outfit?
Not yet but I really want to do red chinos and some kind of button down. After he wore his Christmas outfit for 10 minutes before getting pissed off, I don't want to invest too much $ on it though!

I have started planning! We're inviting close family & friends and it will be at home. I've gotten some party supplies when they are on clearance. I have a loose theme (Eco friendly garden theme) and color scheme of yellow & lilac.. There's a dress in Etsy I love but it's $$$$ so I don't know if Ai can bite he bullet??? We also know what we'll be serving! We're cooking.

Are you going big or small? Small just family. I personally just wanted to take him to the zoo and invite immediate family to go, but my husband insists on having a proper party.

At home or renting a space? Likely at home, but maybe the family lake house.

Theme? Just thinking about having lots and lots of balloons, since he thinks they're hilarious every time we pass one in the store.

I used to live for this kind of stuff, but honestly, I just feel cheap and lazy. Plus no one in my husbands family gets along (especially his parents), so it's back to trying to please everyone and attempting to avoid melt downs. It makes me crabby.

I'm getting this for LOs bday outfit...

We are inviting 30ish people to our house for her party. Ended up ordering another dress for her party... Now I need to figure out which one she'll wear.

Have you picked an outfit?
Not yet. Given the theme, I think I need to find some cute baby rain boots though.

I haven't started planning yet. My family isn't nearby and won't my able to travel. I am thinking we may have it in the community building in our apartment complex or at my ILs. For a theme, I am leaning towards "Pinko de Mayo" with pink decorations and mdxican food. I think someone here suggested that to me ages ago. She'll wear a pink dress, but I don't have one yet! Once it gets closer we will narrow things down, but I think it will be a small celebration.

P.S. Nice to "see" some of you from the WB spring babies thread. Can't believe it's a year already.

I think I may kind of change the theme to a "P" party with a pink color scheme! I saw this birthday pic on a blog and liked it, considering I haven't really been sold on a baby birthday theme and it seems simple enough! lol

Have you started planning? YES! I'm a psycho. I've been planning for a couple months already. She's actually getting 2 parties, one here in the UK and one at home in the States.

Are you going big or small? Medium? I anticipate about 30 people at both.

At home or renting a space? The one in England we are doing at home. The one in the US, we're renting a park pavilion by a lake.

Theme? Shabby chic, "burlap and lace". Soft and vintage with lots of roses. In the US, we're going to go simple. I think we're going to do a picnic theme and do a BBQ.

The cake! We're doing a small, 2-tier version of the middle 2 tiers of this cake. It's already ordered.

Potential b-day outfit

@runsyellowlites: love a P theme (obviously!!). Will you have P foods? Pizza, potato chips, pita chips, pears, peaches, potstickers, popsicles...

@zippylef: My wedding was burlap, lace and pink! Love!!! I even had a similar cake. Great choice!
