Here are two clutches that I think match the color. I don't think they're *too* matchy-matchy. I think "they" say that it's not too matching if the pieces are "away" from each other - ie shoes and a top or a necklace and pants. In this case, shoes and a bag

I wouldn't do a matching clutch with your shoes. I would do a red or yellow or nude shoe, and then a metallic or neutral clutch. When the shoe and bag match perfectly, it is too symmetrical/matchy in my opinion... but that's a minor detail, of course.

How high of a heel are you looking for? Do you prefer open or closed toe?
Do you plan on wearing any jewelry or accessories?

I would choose a modern shoe. Going too retro (with your shoes) will make the ensemble too costume-y. I would go for a classic black patent stiletto with a pointed toe. The toe (and the narrow heel) will elongate your legs. (Thick/chunky heels make your legs look heavier.)

I too agree with @MsLipGloss: about the pointy toe. I see this being more Kate Spade - and there's a lot of cute inspiration there!

I love the idea of yellow or coral to make it more "springy." And a matching solid colored bag!
