DD1 is 2.5 yrs old. She's always been more advanced in terms of maturity and the youngest kid in her class. A few weeks ago, we moved her from a daycare that she liked (and that DD2 went to), to a great daycare (that we had been on the waitlist for 2 yrs, but DD2 isn't there).

Since she has been at this new school, she has been acting out - BAD. Instead of just saying "bye" and going to play when we drop her off, she clings to us and throws a massive tantrum when we leave. She's also getting more physical - last Thursday, she and another girl were pushing each other in the bathroom, where my DD fell back and landed w/ her head on a stool (cue ER visit...).

Yesterday, we were told she had to be brought to the office twice because 1) she refused to nap and was waking up the other kids and 2) she BIT the TEACHER while on the playground because the teacher removed her from the fence she was repeatedly trying to climb.

Today's call has me really concerned though.... They said that she won't listen at all and keeps throwing tantrums in which she won't even let the teachers touch her. After she went potty, she wouldn't get off toilet - they said that her legs were getting red from sitting on so long, but she still wouldn't get off and would kick and scream when they took her off. It's nap time again today and she is trying to wake the kids up.

I'm at a loss! I don't know what to do! Her listening is a little worse at home, but I figured it just had to do w/ being almost 3. I'm concerned that it might have to do w/ her fall from Thursday.... or is it because we took her away from her sister (whom she absolutely adores)??

Please - anyone have any ideas on how to turn this around??
