Swim and art classes. They play soccer all year!

We're doing swim lessons starting next Monday for 5 weeks. If he likes them (they're private) we'll enroll him in more. I'd also like to take the train into the city on a day of and go exploring with him. We're going to the shore at the end of August as well, but that's our annual vacation.

With LO2, we're trying to think of things to do with him that are fun and 1:1. It's harder with him because he sort of just goes with the flow of whatever we're doing with his older brother. The zoo is definitely on the list as is the Please Touch Museum in Philly.

She's enrolled in the summer session at MDO and will still have her little gym class. We'll visit the splash pad and pool as much as possible. We're also planning a trip to Chicago to meet her donor family in June and a couple nights at Great Wolf Lodge with my mom, her boyfriend, his daughter, and her children.

Beach, pool, nature, sleepovers, mama time. I feel like this is the last summer before she really grows up. I almost put her in halfday soccer camp but I didn't want to commit during the discount period and want to keep it flexible since we scheduled a lot of things during the year.

We'll have some swim classes, I'm sure beach days, and possibly traveling out of state, just still deciding where to go.

My son is in school until June 30th, so summer is short. He will go to my DD's daycare. We won't sign him up for any camps or anything since we will also be traveling for a decent chunk of the summer. But I am looking forward to bike riding as a family and going to the city beach.

We haven't enrolled in anything yet and I haven't decided what, exactly, we'll do. We are still recovering from starting school in January (moderately traumatizing for one of the kids; exhausting for both), so we've cut back on activities this spring. Blake seems interested in doing soccer again this year, but Alice wants to do dance. For the first time I might actually put them in completely separate activities! I just have to make sure they can do their activities completely without me since I'll need to be occupying the other kid during classes. I'm not sure they're quite ready for it right now.

I'm due with baby #2 at the end of May, so we'll mostly stay close to home. DD is in swimming lessons once a week which she loves, so we'll keep her in those. Otherwise I plan to spend a lot of time in our backyard. We'll spend some time away with my family for a week in August, but that's about it.

I really want to do swimming lessons this summer. We tried last year but the times for her age group didn't fit into our schedule.
