Depressing post I know, but my grandma is in the ICU, and there's a very good chance she's not going to make it through the day. I spent the day up at the hospital yesterday with all my aunts/uncles and cousins, and we were all able to tell her we love her and say our goodbyes. However, I did not bring my girls up to the hospital. How do you talk to your 2-3 year old about losing a family member? I want to be honest with her but I also know that the concept is not going to be easy for her to grasp. My grandpa passed away 8 months ago, but she was too young then to grasp the concept, she just knows he's in heaven, but now that she's a bit older, I think she will understand it more.
